[Ending A War] The Plan to End a War

Stacy had barely left the Master Suite since she had been found in the cells, there was a part of her that somehow felt guilty for what had occurred and the young female twin been placed in harm’s way and subsequently kidnapped. She didn’t mind admitting she was relieved when Aerian and Virra had returned with the child.

Ascondia had also been around for the most part, as she watched Kane and Aishani now there was a knot in her stomach, a realisation deep within that Kane no longer belonged to her, and that it was time to accept that fact. There was a dawning sense that she was needing to fix things with her own daughter, a puzzle she barely even knew where to start with.

Kane, on the other hand, had one arm around Aishani as he stared at his children, proud and concerned all in the same, “They are strong, even apart, our daughter is stronger than ever, our family is stronger”

As Kane referred to Aerian as their daughter Ascondia looked at him pain in her eyes now before she excused herself, it was hard even for her to hide the tears that flooded down her face before she left.

Aishani nodded, while leaning against Kane but glanced to the leave of Ascondia, sniffing the air a slight. “Excuse me, my love. It seems that Ascondia is crying, I can smell the salt. After I return we will name the children. We cannot have her upset at this time.” Aishani departed after a brief kiss to him and their children. Following the scent of Ascondia.

Ascondia had chosen one of her more favorite places to sulk, one of the towers around halfway up had a window that looked out over the forests to the rear. She wiped her eyes angrily now as she simply stared and watched, somehow trying to process this raging whirlwind of emotions that ripped at her from within.

A handkerchief was offered to her from behind, held by the sudden hand of Aishani. “What could possible have a Queen in tears?” The silky voice of Aishani purred.

“Just watching what I thought was all I ever wanted fall apart,” Ascondia stated darkly “I never thought I’d lose Kane if I just waited eventually he’d see we were supposed to be together. But it was never going to happen and I knew that the moment I saw you all those years ago, the way he looked at you, the way he looks at you makes your heart skip a beat. I hate him for it, he made me love and I destroyed that faith in us,” Ascondia looked at Aishani with a soft smile “You have your children to look out for you needn’t worry about my meltdown, I will get a grip in time for us going to fight, I’m just feeling a lot and not so sure about how to deal with something I taught was weakness and to be suppressed, though as I said not something to concern yourself with.”

“As much as I hate to say this, you are part of this family. The reason I don’t like to say that is because it is hard to admit Kane still cares for you. There will always be a place for you in his heart, I know this. You are the mother of Aerian, his first child. I can never compete with that even if I tried, which I realize is rather fruitless. This isn’t a competition, Ascondia. I still have my insecurities. Though sometimes, you never know what you have until it’s gone. The war has everyone on edge and we are preparing for the worst. You are still a part of this family. Love for me was always a weakness too. I overcame that, men were viewed as lessers only a tool for pleasure amongst the society of Drow. It was when they turned on me, I saw the truth. Don’t let what you were taught, to overrule your heart.”

“We were born to change the worlds we were sent to, a guide by non interference. My Master said I would not only change one world but them all, then I started dreaming of the Everlands and they turned, I was barely 13 when I ran, blind luck opened the portal that brought me here and in horror, I had to watch as my nightmares came to light. It’s funny the first time I changed the fate of the Everlands and they hailed me a hero. Made me Queen, and I did, as best I could with the visions to guide me, the Everlands found peace and I found Hades, who then brought me Kane and the rest you already know. The oddest part was running and hiding to save our daughter, among humans who quite honestly scare the crap out of me. I gave birth and Aerian began to exhibit her powers so I sent her home, she never forgave me for that, not because I sent her home to Kane but because I couldn’t come with her, afraid I guess, I’ve watched her grow and yet never been a part of her life, when he said your daughter,” She stopped wondering why she had laid half her life story down to this woman she barely even knew “It hurt, worse than I ever expected it, I’m sure your not trying to replace me, but in her eyes you already have. Again though, we have a war to end because we won’t win, winning implies we lose nothing but we already have each of us has lost something to this war, a piece of ourselves, let’s hope the other side allows us to build a future for us all. Now haven’t you children to name, I promise I will be fine,”

“The day, she stops calling you, mom is the day that she has replaced you. But she still calls you that, I’d suggest that you talk to her. She does love you and knows that you do, it’s the way you show it that confuses her. I think with the share of her talent with Virra had given her some levelheadedness. The two are engaged now. I’ve seen the ring and know Kane has.” Aishani chuckled. “I can help to talk things out. I don’t mind. Just we have to keep it together for not just the family but our people. It’s a heavy weight. Yes, I think I know a name for both. Will you join me? I’d like for you to be there.”

“Who would have though you and I could be civil, even for a moment” Ascondia chuckled softly “Perhaps you are right and the end of this war will be a new start for us all” She slid from her place in the window and with Aishani made her way back to the Master Bedroom.

Kane was in conversation with Stacy as they entered “Everything OK?”

“Just moving on Kane, little more than I’m used to processing, I’m fine” Ascondia replied softly “We should get to naming these two before they begin to believe baby boy and girl are their actual names”

Kane raised a brow as he tried to figure if that was a genuine statement of concern or a dig at him in some form. He shook his head as he walked to Aishani taking her hand gently “Any ideas my love?”

Aishani smirk to Ascondia’s words. “Don’t get too comfy.” She chuckled walking with her to the master suite. Well with she accepted Kane’s hand and moved to the cribs to look over the babes. “Terra…” The girl squealed and made a gesture of clapping her hands but did so in a miss.

“I think she likes her name my love,” Kane smiled softly as he watched her, “And So welcome Terra Elcarus”

Aishani chuckled to the sight of Terra, leaning down to give her a kiss, when suddenly beside her, the boy grabbed her hair. Looking at her questioningly, but began to tug in a playful manner, she then scooped up the boy and parted his small hands from the dreads. “Hm, looks like he’s impatient.” She scolded the boy in a playful tone, but then looked to Kane. “What about Xander?”

Kane laughed as the boy grabbed at Aishanis hair “He is indeed going to be a handful, and I think Xander fits just perfectly,” Letting Xander take his finger with a soft smile “What do you think? Shall we call you Xander?”

“Terra and Xander, they hold such strength, and are beautiful just like their parents,” Stacy added still on the far side of the room “I think they will play a great part in things to come, all of your children will eventually be just as strong as you and lead just as well” She wasn’t supposed to give such clues on the future but a part of Stacy simply couldn’t keep all she knew to herself, a soft reassurance that they would, in the end, be alright.

Aishani gave Kane a sharp glance when he found amusement in Xander’s grab at her hair. “Indeed.” She handed of Xander to Kane while scooping up Terra, cradling her as the infant looked with a strong neck for her brother in which she complied and leaned against Kane. “It starts soon. This war will be finished.” Aishani subtly commented on Stacy’s words but to the children.

Kane held Xander to him as he watched Aishani take Terra, his eyes soft and determined now. “We do all this for you, we do it for the realm and for our children” he stated softly now talking to the twins.

Terra gurgled with the incoherent baby jibberish, while Xander seemed to smile and squeal in excitement. Aishani grinned revealing her sharp canines to Terra whom appeared curious and extended a hand up as though she hadn’t quite figured out that such was out of her reach. Aishani leaned her cheek against Kane’s bicep. “They are smart and already taking in everything…”

“That may not work out too well for us in the future” Kane grinned in his reply, as he watched the twins as they visually took in every detail around them. “When they go for their nap we should talk,” He looked around the room now “All of us,”

Aishani nodded now while moving to settle and open her top to reveal the breasts, swollen with milk. Though arranged one to feed Terra and then extended an arm for Xander, it would be clear now. Once the children had fed, it would make them sleepy, this giving them time to all speak. It worked like a charm, though, in the sight, it was rather erotic with a child latched to each bosom, yet perfectly natural. She rose after tucking away her bosom, placing each carefully in the crib. “Prepare the wet nurse, I don’t need them going hungry.”

Kane watched the whole scene with admiration in that moment, Kane had made his way to the door and was now in conversation with guards ensuring that this room would be well secured in their absence. The mages had now finally managed to strengthen the protection wards around the mansion ensuring that no one would get in unless they were allowed.

“The gates are to sealed shut the moment we leave, no one in or out no matter the circumstances, Dragons will also be left outside the gates, do I make myself clear?”

“Yes my Lord, of course, we will watch the babes with our lives, as always,” Kane nodded as he turned to see the children settling he pointed to the room just beyond. Hades had already made himself comfortable on the desk as they filed in.

Jade was between Hades’ legs in his comfortable sit on the desk, watching as they entered and motioned to the table. Where a small protein packed snack was prepared. “Eat up. We need the strength.”

Kane nodded, as Heart entered the room from the other door now looking a little less broken down.

“I’m not going to say we’ll be OK, or that we will all make it home because I don’t know, I do know that Stacy is staying behind, the last thing we need is another realm healer dying. As for the rest of us we can’t win if we’re not all there, The Dires and Unicorns will ensure our backs are watched, the Spiders will ensure we’re not surprised from the side along with forces from Emerald City, the dragons are going to clear our path and we along with our armies are going to breach Elvera and take the castle by force. The biggest issue will be taking down the outer walls, they were built to withstand. I should know I helped build them.”

“So how do we get through them?” Hades stated darkly already not liking the plan laid out before him.

“I want them to see us coming, so we drop the gates, enough magic and dragon fire thrown at them they will fall, the city is according to Ascondia already clear, aside from their own forces, so no need to play nice, our issue lies once we are beyond the gates we’re on our own. The magicks above Elvera are designed to repel dragons and well anything else you want to throw at the city, we don’t have the time to bring them down, we need to stop Ceremon and Z’ress and it has to be now, we are out of time.” Kane’s words were deliberate in not hiding what lay ahead of them now.

Jade placed a hand on Hade’s thigh, she was now wearing a shorter kimono with a sword attached to her hip that held a gorgeous golden sheath and two throwing stars at her waist that glistened and appeared to be liquid, yet solid, magically bound. “Yes, while, I agree that the reign of fire will not withstand the wards. The grounding forces, I believe we may have a better chance at the spiders. They can move quickly enough to get within before even we can.”

Aishani considered Jade silently. “This may be perfect, Shadow and I share a bond. I can see through her eyes, this can get us a pin point on Ceremon and Z’ress, inside the castle.”

“We will have to use our vices on the ground to break through into the fortified city.” Jade nodded a slight while inhaling deeply. “But one thing they will not count on is the Spiders to breach first.”

“That could work, I’ll see what I can build upon with Shadow. She remains close due to the kidnapping of Terra, though, will after some coaxing listen to me. Considers, Terra one of her own due to it being our child…But, I need you all to understand something. Should any harm come to Shadow, I will take the damage. She is best at scouting. That will do well for our benefit.” Aishani said, now, she was wearing her leather armor, the set that Kane first laid eyes upon her on with her hair drawn back into a dread pull. “I say we come at the front but keep our best scouts in the back to enter through. Ascondia, is there now emergency escape from the castle itself? An ambush may be best.”

“The back routes to the castle were sealed off, Zia used the only remaining one. I made a mistake as I opened the portal and the tunnel collapsed as we escaped,” Ascondia replied “One way in and that’s through the front doors after we breach the city gates” Ascondia herself was now in dark leather armour, her hair pinned back. Twin swords on her back.

“It doesn’t surprise me, the High Council were paranoid as all hell,” Kane was about to speak further when the door opened again bringing to conversation Aerian, Virra and the newcomer Domi.

“Sorry we’re late, Domi was trying to treat us to breakfast. The realm it seems had other ideas, gave me a glimpse, lots of combat, death, mayhem, fire and Elvera burning, beyond that I’m still trying to figure it out. We all survive so far as I can tell,” Aerian made her words quickly as she looked around the room at the very heart of the realm itself in her father Kane, his wife Aishani, his brother Hades, his fiancée Jade, her mother Queen Ascondia, his best friend Heart, the healer Stacy, the Dress maid turned warrior Elsa, her lover and fiancée Virra, and their latest addition Domi, it wasn’t an army but it was a force to be reckoned with.

“Keeping us guessing, you’d think they’d give us more to work with” Hades scoffed with a mock smile as he slid his hand over Jades, a reassuring gesture to his fiancée, “Still if there’s anything you missed let us know before we all trust your keen visions and wind up dead?”

“Not today Uncle Hades, we will prevail, we’re a family” Which she was fairly certain was the point of the vision a reminder that together they could indeed accomplish anything.

“So the spiders will lead the infiltration, the problem now it’s still going to take a shit load of magic to open those gates” Kane sighed softly.

Jade glanced took Hades and curled her fingers within hers, placing a squeeze of reassurance to him. Aishani inclined a brow while watching Domi for a moment then simply chuckled with a slow shake of her head returning to the conversation. “Yes, then, let’s be about this. We have a fight ahead of us.”

Kane also had his eye on Domi and to Virra before he decided he actually didn’t want to know and would, in the end, trust their judgment. It seemed they now had a plan and all they needed now was to execute things.

“We should leave at daybreak we’re still a few days out,” Hades stated firmly “Heart you will have time to get ahead of us and send in Emerald Cities reinforcements as of Aishanis orders, of course, we should have forces defend the gateway into the city as well”

Kane nodded in agreement, “Virra, Aerian, and the young man will be our support, I trust no one more to cover our backs, and ensure you’ll have cleared out the city”

Domi and Virra nodded to Kane’s words, assisting ready. Aishani spoke then, “We get a good night’s sleep and then leave. No one is any good without such, make sure your heads are on straight and we proceed to take back Elvarian lands and secure the castle. This is our home and as such we fight for it.”

“So we leave tomorrow?” Aerian looked up with a grin “Cool, well I’m gonna go get my breakfast, and relax for today, may be my last chance for a while,” She took Virras hand and smiled toDomi “Come on you, you started now you gotta finish,”

Kane watched as the trio left before looking to Aishani “Why do I get the feeling I shouldn’t ask?”

“Seems your girl …” Hades began

“I don’t want to know” Kane groaned in reply

Domi was already leaving holding the door for Virra and Aerian before the trip left the room.

Aishani tilted her head with a smirk and chuckle to Kane’s reaction. “Because she’s your little girl–women rather. It’s amusing, I agree Hades.”

“As long as she is happy, that is what counts?” Ascondia finally stated having watched the whole thing unfold before her.

“As long as she is careful,” Kane replied before turning to Aishani “We should go get some rest, all of us should. Tomorrow we begin the steps to end this”

“I will head home to Emerald City, your orders Aishani?” Heart stated softly he had taken all that was said in and understood the stakes now as he waited to once again play his part.

Aishani agreed with Ascondia, perhaps for the first time but glanced to Heart. “Be quick about it Heart. My orders are as follows, gather Emerald City army to walk against the threat of the realm. Add your own touch to get into the hearts of the people and ready them to match in Elvera. Every moment counts now.”

Heart bowed lightly and was gone just as quickly, as Ascondia as well left them, it wasn’t long before Kane and Aishani were back in their chambers beside their children.

He had already peeled out of his shirt and was now sat simply watching as the children slept, a reminder of why they were fighting. Oddly for him, he was at peace with that fact now.

Aishani climbed into the bed behind Kane, wrapping her arms around him from behind with chin perched on his shoulder. Her bare skin of her bosom crushed into his back. “I feel it too. This will end soon and we can enjoy our children.”

“The future is worth protecting, for us all, I want a safe world for us to raise our children, together,” He drew her hands around him to his lips kissing them gently “We should get some sleep,”

[Ending A War] Don’t Think Just…

Aerian laughed loudly before taking after them both, suddenly she had a thought and took off in the opposite direction before vaulting through an window and landing squarely between them, she spun on her back foot to look at Domi then to Virra before taking off toward the cottage “Come on Domi, it’s all part of our game, your our pet and now it’s time for your reward” Aerian squealed in delight before peeling her shirt off, she looked over her shoulder and tossed it Domi then resumed her race for the cottage.

The two were stunned at the appearance of Aerian, stopping them dead in their tracks, looking puzzled. Virra snickered first at giving chase after Aerian, though Domi began to race faster while pushing at Virra in a playful manner. Yet, as Aerian tossed her shirt behind her, Domi reached for it but it was Virra that caught it. Shoving it in his face, giving her more leverage and speed. “You have to catch us first.” Virra snickered, while catching up to Aerian and gathering her hand in hers, rushing to the cottage with Domi falling behind.

Aerian caught the door as the barrelled through into the living room of their cottage, Aerian purred softly with a smile, before she circled around behind Virra her arms wrapping around her waist the flesh of her breasts pressed into the fabric of her top she waited for Domi to finally join them.

Virra struggled in Aerian’s hold, arms pinned to her side, though, panting without attaining approval Virra violently shoved her hand down Aerian’s pants and instantly slithered a digit to begin to stimulate the pearl just beneath her slit. Just then Domi burst into the cottage with the closure of the door. It was dim within the room, he didn’t know his way around but once he entered, the shirt in his hand and stopped to stare at the sight of Aerian and Virra. His hazel eyes fixed, that is when Aerian witnessed a twitch in his pants, frozen at his next action.

Aerian whimpered at Virras intrusion, as Domi closed the door and stood staring she grinned dangerously, her grip of Virra released as she removed her hand from between her legs, leading her by that hand to Domi and tracing her juices over his lips.

“Now be a good boy and sit, and do as we want and I promise we will have a whole lot of fun, follow the rules and I’ll give you something for ALL your help” Aerians words were silken and dripping with intent as she let Virras hand slip from hers now moving around the cottage to close the curtains and light the candles within, the room still dim but the mood much more sensual now, finally she made her way back to Virra and back to the same deep passion filled kiss her lover had come to know, “I say we make tonight a night to remember” her tone swapped quickly as she finished with “At least before we all get brutally murdered tomorrow, or this war ends, either way I don’t want to think I want to fuck!”

Virra growled as Aerian jostled her hand free from with her pants, though, not before a digit dipped into her drooling gate, but stumbled a slight in the lead to Domi. He licked his lips after the flavor that remained and dropped the shirt, lowering a hand to adjust his package that clearly was tensing in his trousers but fell to his knees at Aerian’s words.

Initially Virra seemed hesitant, while it was then the depth and passion of the kiss that caused her to relax, turning to face Aerian and her hands lifting to knead into the swell of her bosom, pinching and tugging on the buds.

Aerian breathed deeply feeling the sharp twinge of pain mix with the flood of pleasure, suddenly she spun into Virra now stripping her, her motions rapid and hungry as she breathed in the scent of her lover Aerian smiled before sliding to her knees, her fingers working to free Virra of her pants before she let her lips kiss the flesh of her thighs her hands now resting on her hips.

Virra gasped to the sudden stripping of her clothing, as Domi remained seated, eyes intent on the two women with his chest rising and falling rather rapidly. Now, Aerian saw it when she knelt down Domi was pitching a tent in his pants and the strong scent of her lover, it was clear that Virra was enjoying being watched like this even if it was her childhood friend. She growled softly to the peppering of Aerian’s lips against her skin.

Aerian let her tongue flick out over Virras flesh as she now glanced back Domi, ensuring he knew he wasn’t forgotten. She could already feel herself wet now as she returned her attention to working her kisses toward her lovers sweet centre, as she neared Aerian changed direction working up her body to her stomach and then back down. A show as clear as it could be for Domi, before finally she slid back letting her tongue work along her out lips slowly savoring the touch.

Virra was quivering, clearly, she enjoyed putting herself on display for Domi as much as Aerian had. Fingers running through her hair, as her breathing increased into the delightful song of approval to everything that was occurring brought on by her fiancé. She lifted a leg to perch upon Aerian’s shoulder, opening herself up to the kneading at Aerian’s neck, but also delivered the view of her glistening petals to Domi. He was panting catching each glance that the fiery and dark vixen sent in his direction, clearly his pants were straining more beneath the pressure of his own arousal.

Aerian let her hands wander her lovers thighs slowly as she slowly let her tongue slide within her folds tasting the warm nectar of the only woman she loved unconditionally, Aerian slid back just a little now looking along Virras body “Last chance to pull out, but I want you to know I love you and only you, more with each day, and I’ve wait far too long to get my hands on you like this,” her words were breathless and hungry.

Virra curled her fingers within Aerian’s fiery threads looking down to her with such lust in her eyes that it was incredible. Growling softly as a glisten of her juices flowed to her shoulder, as the shape of the body Aerian knew by heart was displayed not just for her but Domi. It was an added slice to the situation in an erotic flare. A woman so strong that no man has ever seen or witnessed such from Virra with open invitation before.

Aerian knew instantly in that moment all she needed, as she turned her head toward Domi there was a fire that burnt somewhere between desire and lust and yet all in the same an absolute reminder she was Virras “You have to play by the rules, and you get both of us, all of us,” Aerian stood now as she kissed Virra then made her way to Domi, her eyes locked on his as her hips swayed ever so slightly she drew him to his feet and then aided him to undress. As she reached his pants she smiled wickedly and then eased them down as she saw his manhood she breathed hungrily wrapping her hand around just for a moment then led Virra to the bedroom, she turned and motioned to Domi to join them.

Virra lowered her leg to Aerian’s rise, growling softly within the kiss, while smacking her on the bottom while watching her move to Domi. The bulge appeared to twitch as Aerian’s sensual movements to stand before him, he simply nodded while his hands caressed over her back and hips, though, it was appreciative. Aerian could read that he was restraining himself heavily, but, the removal of his clothing exposed a very lean and muscular frame with the copper skin. He lowered his hand to caress her cheek and offered her a smirk to match her wicked expression. The endowment that sprung to life, excited to be liberated was very robust, thick and endowed. He inhaled deeply to the wrap of her hand around his girth, tilting his head back and flicking his tongue across his lips. Those hazel eyes shifting to Virra then to Aerian as the fiery female stood to gather Virra and lead to the bedroom. The invitation was accepted as Domi stepped forward with his proud pillar at attention.

Aerian smiled now as she placed herself in front of Virra slowly backing her onto the bed, as Virra met the bed Aerian pushed her upon it, waiting until Virra made herself comfortable Aerian slid onto the bed straddling her waist her hands placed flat to the flesh of her breasts.

“You are the most incredible woman I have ever met, and I want you, in every way” She leant to kiss the flesh of her neck and shoulders, before she returned to her seated straddled position ensuring Virra watching as she reached for Domi to join them.

Virra looked up to Aerian with those dark eyes, holding a fire of passion within the depths, turning her head to the side in an exposure of her neck to her lover, soft moans leaving her lips to the pepper of her lips against her flesh. Never had Virra been dominated in such a way by Aerian, usually it was the opposite and now it was clear why, since Domi was present.

To Aerian’s gesture Domi neared the bed, looking over the two beauties slowly with a gleeful twitch from his fleshy pillar, even in the lighting cast by the candles, a drop of dew appeared gracing the slit atop the crown like a jewel. His hand curled with Aerian’s as it was accepted and he lay to settle beside them, by the pattern of his breathing and the way his eyes were devouring the two vixens it was clear he was restraining himself.

Aerian admired his restraint, but was more than happy to keep him that way for now. She took his hand and led it to Virras breast keeping hers over his as she urged him to knead the flesh of her lover, Aerian had no doubt Virra could feel the heat of her own molten core as she ground down against Virra. She wanted or rather needed to stay in control of this, to see it play out her way.

Aerian had willing given herself to Virra at all times, now she craved to control this game she had started. She drew Domis hand to her own breast for a moment before returning it to Virras, her eyes now strayed to his erection with a grin. She wondered for a moment what he would do if allowed off her leash, her body shuddered at the thought as she dove down to kiss Virra again, before she reared up now rolling her hips against her lover watching as Domi plucked and teased her breasts.

Domi looked to Aerian then followed the path that she guided his strong hand to Virra’s bosom, the beauty of her lovers breast spilling between his fingers as Aerian guided his hand until the fingers began to grip and this cause Virra to tilt her head back in a sound of pleasure. Virra was rolling up against Aerian, it was plainly clear that she enjoyed this with the sounds and feel of Aerian’s molten petals against her abdomen, Domi had his eyes focused on her until Aerian reigned his hand to her own bosom in which she felt the strength behind his hand with a pinch of a bud. A twitch happened now, though, but the focus was returned to Virra, he moved closer to them upon the bed. His application to her bud was sheer torture while he pinch, plucked and rolled the bud between fingers and kneaded with his hand, causing Virra’s magnificent bosom to jiggle from time to time. Just as her mouth opened in a delicious moan it was silenced by the kiss. Domi appeared to know exactly that which made a female squirm, Virra then lifted her hands to knead into Aerian’s bosom, a hand slithering to tangle within her hair and force her down, enough to claim a breast within her lips, the flick of tongue and brief nibble upon the bud was intoxicating now with the vibration of her sounds against the flesh and rush of breath to each pinch and tug of her bud.

Aerian moaned softly as Virra took her breast, her hand ran through her hair slowly just for a moment, before she slid away placing herself between the thighs of Virra, her hands now ran along the tender flesh of her thighs, curving her fingers to drag her nails back along the flesh.

As she leant forward she kissed along Virras thighs and over her pubic bone, repeating her patterns from earlier of getting so close to warmth of her wetness before moving away to focus kisses on her thighs, her stomach, her hands roaming the flesh of her sides and thighs slowly raking her nails along Virras ribs before finally allowing her tongue to taste Virra a soft moan escaping her.

The heat was incredible between Virra’s thighs, radiating to cover Aerian in the essence of her lover. Virra reacted now as the conflict of nails and fingers stimulated her flesh sensually, a shift was felt on the bed as it appeared that Domi had adjusted to place his lips upon Virra’s bosom suckling and feasting upon her succulent flesh with the other hand never relenting on attention to the right breast. In the dip, lower, in Aerian’s taste, never had she felt her as saturated as she was, clearly this was exciting her thoroughly. But, near to Aerian’s view was the bobbing and twitching pillar of meat, a glisten of seed seen spilling down the shaft.

Aerians eyes were now fixed on Domis erection, she could smell the scent of Domi as it had begun to mix with that of Virras intoxicating Aerian. She drew her hands to her before moved them to part the tender lips exposing the tender nub, her tongue flicked out and against before she nipped against it, Aerian whimpered softly before diverting her attention back to treatment of Virras clit, slow sensual traces of her tongue before she would drag, her tongue back and suckle firmly, before letting a moan lip free vibrating along her tongue.

The feasting that Domi held upon Virra’s bosom was growing more hungry, ravaging, this caused her porcelain flesh to grow red with the whispers of bruising while it was clear this excited her even more. The sounds from Virra were incredible and fueled Aerian on with the cries of pain and pleasure. The conflict of the tenderness from Aerian’s fix to her pearl was greeted with the throbbing of her flower, in the nip a cry parted her lover’s lips but it also pushed her honey to flood against Aerian’s pallet. That is when abruptly, Aerian felt her hand taken and guided to Domi’s pillar by Virra, twitching in the hold and throbbing beneath her hand.

She slowly wrapped her hand around, feeling the throbbing of him, she let her hand slowly work the length, just for a moment. Before she shifted her position now draped against Virra as she began to work the length of Domi, the sight of him against her lover only served to make Aerian want more.

She leant forward over Virras legs enough to place a kiss against the tip before extending her tongue against the underside. Flicking it back to collect the single drop of him, feeling the warm salty taste spread out over her tongue, a soft sound almost a purr emanating from her throat.

Virra removed her hand from atop Aerian’s, while fingertips ran through her hair and tangled to loosen and return, again and again. Eventually the focus shifted upon Domi, as the girth was more then to not touch her fingers together without squeezing. Virra’s breathing was ragged, as Aerian felt her body react to the presentation to Domi’s flesh stick. To the initial first lick against the salty sweet flesh, rippling beneath her tongue. A groan parted Domi’s lips when the tip was attended to by Aerian, twitching and throbbing more persistently to the attention, his lapping and suckling increasing causing Virra to cry out in ecstasy and pressed Aerian’s head more to his member.

Aerian reached for Domis hand now guiding it to the tender core of Virra, as she watched his hand just for a moment she watched him, another tentative lick of him before she released her grip raking her nails down the underside.

Finally taking him in her mouth, just the tip as she let her tongue circle, her hand now working down followed by her mouth, as she eased him down her throat, pausing for a moment to allow herself to adjust, and then continue before easing back all the way from him, leaving him once again her hand.

Domi’s hand was rough, weathered from a life in the line of his work, warm and strong in the guide down to Virra’s flower. He parted the petals with two fingers and then began to massage against the pearl that was glistening from the pearl essence dripping from the core of Virra’s hive. His lips left her bosom with an articulate plop, now, Aerian could see the peppering of bite marks and raging flesh, angry, red. His other continued to torture her opposite breast, as a groaning to the lick that flicked upon the spongey tip, causing the flesh stick to twitch, but a grunt slipped through as her nails tormented his tender length. He glared down on her, but it was swept away with the expertise of her apologetic movements and the salve of her hot mouth purging him, appearing to move his finger more firmly against the writhing Virra but it was then that Aerian heard the subtle sound of a fingertip entering her lover the further she traveled down. His taste was strong, masculine, though also wild. He began to buck against her hand, watching her with hungry eyes.

The sound of Virra being so wet spun Aerian. She now returned her attention to Domi and his length. Again she returned him to her throat, now as she eased back she would sink back down upon him.

As she worked Domi Aerian would lightly rake her nails against Virras flesh, she moaned now around Domi. Her mouth remained locked around him but she had now positioned them so she could watch Virras every reaction.

Domi maintained his position, the sound of his digits digging into Virra’s grounds growing more intense, this caused her to cry out and the sound was not only erotic but offered a view that he did know exactly how to please a woman without his shaft. The further Aerian attended to him, the more groans increased, until she felt a hand at the back of her head to keep her in place while thrusting his hips more forcefully.

To the new view, Aerian saw Virra was in sheer ecstasy with her body glistening in the light, cheeks flush with color and eyes glazed over. Her beautiful bosom was speckled with the intensity that Domi continued to suckle on her bosom, finally he rolled her over to her hip and began to tend viciously to neglected bosom. He was like a hungry ravaging beast, her breasts jiggled to the might of each powerful pump of his hand into her that only now Aerian could hear the squirting projected by Virra’s multiple climaxes. Portions of her dark threads clung to her neck and face, while she was loosing herself and Aerian knew it.

That was when Virra watched Aerian through hooded lids, biting her lip, while her body was trembling from the sheer exhaust of the physical pleasure, licking her lips, then it happened. Aerian felt the twitch within her mouth, the fleshy tube expanding to then rage with the release of his milk into Aerian’s mouth, gathering her hair in order to force her to remain there, it was soft but firm.

Aerian halted her motion pulling back enough to prevent her choking on the warm liquid as it flooded down her throat, she tried to swallow it down, but it was more than she could as some was able to escape her mouth flooding down her chin and onto her breasts. As the flood subsided she slipped back letting him slip free of her mouth, licking her lips watching him.

She smiled darkly then turned to slither along Virras body with the same dark grin now, as she reached her eye level she kissed Virra, her hands returning to heated still soaked core of the young woman, before bring them to her lips and licking them gently. She wanted them both to continue playing as she watched first Virra then Domi, pleased in that moment, it was clear Aerian was enjoying every moment, but she was far from done just yet.

Domi allowed Aerian to lean back, grunting as each spurt filled her mouth beyond capacity, as his eyes met hers, it was clear by the still throbbing length that he was far from finished and the stamina kept the trophy stiff and glistening from her polish. It seemed that his feasting only continued upon Virra’s bosom, the unattended one now beginning to mirror that of the previous, watching as his teeth gently gripped and tugged on Virra’s bud, such caused her to yelp out in pain, while his fingers never relented while Virra was attempting to escape by writhing her hips away.

When Aerian moved upon Virra’s body, she met the glazed eyes of her lover, riddled with such passion that it was causing a swell in her heart. As her hand lowered to the core the kiss settling Virra and giving her an outlet, it was that Domi offered Aerian a space to join his fingers knuckle deep within Virra. Amazingly she was still drenched, Domi’s free hand caressed up and down Aerian’s back brought by a sudden spank to her bottom.

Virra turned her head to watch Domi for a moment, lifting her hands to guide him in a kneeling position with his erection close to her mouth, tongue parting to lick against the length and suckle, until Virra’s hand angled a slight to give Domi more of a position to plunge within Virra’s mouth. The sight was incredible, as his girth was taken in full without issue, stretching those plush lips and plumping her cheeks, the hand on his back began to urge him to roll his hips. He graciously accepted the urge, her eyes rolled into the back of her skull then and the sounds of his flesh against her lips and pleasure were intoxicating.

Aerian then felt the hand of Virra curl within hers.

Aerian watched with intent as she watched her lover devour Domi with ease, she felt her own core heat as she shifted her leg over Virras allowing her to grind herself down into Virra, a whimper as she hit the point she had intended. Again she ground down against her eyes still locked on the scene of Domi plunging himself into her lovers mouth.

Aerian couldn’t contain herself as she pushed Domi away and the turned herself before positioning Virra over her, as she did she reached her hands to grip Virras hip now plunging her tongue into her and tasting the overflow of warm juices, hungrily drinking her down much as she had Domi moments ago. Her hand waved Domi to her as she groped at Virras buttocks, it was clear enough what Aerian had in mind next, she looked back to Domi and smiled before returning to her groping and exposing her to the waiting Domi.

She was also incredibly wet and well aware that Virra would now be able to see just how wet their current escapades were making her.

Domi stumbled a slight at the push, clearly not expecting this but stroked his own manhood, proudly standing at attention of the two female vixens. Virra cried out suddenly to the shift in positions with Aerian on the bottom and Virra upon her hands and knees, the faster that Aerian drank the more that Virra moaned, to the change. Virra began to lap at Aerian’s sudden exposure of her drenched flower, while pulling her down to plunge her tongue deep within the love passage. A finger raced to slicken then plunged into her starlet abruptly and cruelly. The invitation by Aerian to Domi was accepted as he crawled on the bed to run his hands over Virra’s thighs and then extended a hand to pat sharply upon her flower causing her to yelp amidst the feast upon Aerian. Now, was the moment that Aerian had been waiting for, the perfect view between her legs and Domi massaged her cheeks, pushing and pulling them before that rigid pillar plunged suddenly and deeply within her passage causing the juices to trickle down nearly immediately. One hand went to her hip, as the other began a succession of abuse to the half-moons, caressing then returning. Now, Aerian saw the delicate petals forced to take the length, pink against the robust copper rod. His sounds began to increase, the more violent he had went.

The sight of Domis hard pole plunging into Virra was far better than Aerian could ever have wanted, though the sight of her lover claimed by another, caused a twinge of anger just for a moment, quickly buried in the view of Virra being violated by Domi. Aerian squirmed down against Virras invading hand a soft whimper before she let her tongue stray against the length of Domi, the taste of him mixed with Virra quickly filled her senses.

As she let her tongue wander over Domi she raised a hand to cup his balls for a moment before reaching back further her hands running over the muscular thighs, she whimpered again the sight above her as well as Virras actions were now pushing her completely into desperate need.

Virra pressed her hands against Aerian’s hips while driving down to plunge her slick muscle into her heated core. The vibration of her sounds felt against the tender petals. The more the clapping of Virra and Domi’s body growing louder and louder, while more of Virra’s honey spilt and added more ear into the penetration.

A cry parted Virra’s lips, as a smack caused her body to juggle against Aerian, though abruptly she parted from the deep kiss of her flower to pull her out and flip Aerian upon her back. As Domi continued to pound into Virra but now in this position it allowed him to shift from Virra to violently into Aerian, just as Virra’s mouth clapped upon her bud.

Aerian felt herself filled deep by Domi her body tensed as her heated core accepted him with ease at this point, she squealed in hunger as he did, Virras actions only pushing her rapidly toward release.

Just as she was pushed near to her release, Domi withdrew by the bite upon her bud it was clear where he traveled to. He rotated between both women plunging his manhood deep and cruelly within each. Just as Virra cried out and crushed her lips against Aerian’s to ensure a deep passionate kiss it was then that Aerian felt that massive monster stretch her passage with an explosive heat. Then as it happened he withdrew to only by the reaction of Virra amidst the kiss knew his destination. This continued for what seemed as forever, rotating between the two and filled them endlessly with his seed. By the end he pulled the two women apart and lay between them am arm around each as Virra laced a hand with Aerian over his chest. His strong hands caressing over their arms and bodies, his eyes seemed dazed in disbelief. As Virra smirked across to Aerian while kissing his neck.

“I have the most beautiful women in Everlands on my arms….” Domi commented gently, though genuinely. “Please don’t kick me to the curb.”

Aerian actually growled as he withdrew from her that first time, before groaned as he refilled her, her body shuddered with her own release her cries lost within the kiss as she found her own release. As he lay between them she looked to Virra with her own glazed look.

“I think we should keep him,” she breathed softly as her free hand reached between her own thighs collecting some of the juice and then suckling it from her fingers, she kissed his chest softly before she let her gaze fall back on Virra, now softened and tender and yet still burning with the same desire she had always had for her “And I love you, forever”

Virra grinned, while looking up to Domi. “Maybe. Play your cards right. Understand, you are not allowed to fuck either of us separate from each other. Only when we are together.” Her words carried a slight growl, she was lightly bruised on her bosom but it seemed to not bother her. But let her gaze return to Aerian, caressing her cheek. “Now and forever…”

“I can deal with that.” Domi said calmly.

“Such a good boy, play nice and we will too,” Aerian licked his chest slowly before she looked to Virra, “Let’s hope we survive tomorrow, be a shame to spoil things so quickly”

The trio fell to sleep rather quickly, though, sometime during the late hours, Domi slipped from between each female cautious to not wake them. Hesitated near the door returning to kiss each gently on the forehead. “My sleeping angels…” He whispered in admiration, stopping to watch them for a moment before gathering his strewn clothing, stirring the fire and blowing out the candles to not start a fire. Fixing his quiver with arrows and now, he slipped unknown to the two sleeping lovers out the door.

[Ending A War] It’s Time to End This

It had taken them 76 hours as Aerian, Virra and Domi finally made it back through the gates of the Mansion. Aerian had the young child now strapped to her front keeping her both close and warm, as they headed in Aerian asked a guard the location of her parents and was quickly directed back to the Master Bedroom.

As she knocked upon the door she stood and she waited on the reply.

There was a response to enter the room. Once the trio and the baby entered, they were met with the sight of Hades, Jade, Stacy, Ascondia gathered around a table with a map upon it, while the only two with the back to the door was Kane and Aishani. Aishani wore fitted leather with a harness over her torso, gifted blade from Kane to her hip as her other.

To the side was two cribs, one held a sleeping babe.

When Aishani turned, her eyes widened briefly at the sight and she moved quickly over to Aerian. “You were successful…Let me hold my daughter…please.” Her voice quivered, as her hands were held out to accept the child.

The baby stirred as Aerian unclasped the harness holding her, she smiled softly as she placed the baby into Aishanis hand “She’s Ok, but your sister was able to escape us, we can go back out and try to hunt her, but odds are she is back in Elvera by now, I’m sorry”

Kane had already crossed the distance between them as Aishani took the child Kane held Aerian just for a moment “Thank you,” was all he managed before turning his attention his wife and their new born.

“The important thing is, that she has been returned and safely. I’ll deal with my…bitch of a sister and family.” The infant girl looked up to Aishani, it was more then clear that she was happy, as a gurgle occurred as though attempting to talk to Aishani, extending a hand to claps around her finger and investigate with the digit brought to the small mouth. She smiled down upon the child, it could be felt, as pure love was sent from mother to daughter, Aishani looked to Aerian. “Thank you…Thank you all…” She whispered and moved away to place the child in the same crib as the other. Brother and sister reunited, gurgling and chirping happily to each other.

Jade then went to embrace Aerian and Virra, though, hesitated at the presence of Domi, glancing to Hades. “Who is he…”

“This is Domi, he helped with us returning my sister,” Aerian replied as she nodded to Domi “I said he could stay with us, at least until the war is done with, he helped us it’s the least we can do to repay that debt”

“Can you be trusted? I sense there is more to the story than my dear niece is willing to say, so Virra is he to be trusted?” Hades stated though still bent over the map his eyes glanced at Domi then to Virra, it was clear enough that Hades would take Virras word even above his nieces, not because he didn’t trust Aerian but simply because of Aerians want to protect the world, a quality she only showed in small amounts.

Virra looked from Aerian to Jades at his question, appearing torn. “I grew up with him. Aside from his perversions…yes, he is. Now that my Pops is gone there is no order, he is on our side.”

Domi remained silent looking over those in the room, then speaking. “I don’t want the realm to fall to tell crazy bitches. They will kill Ceremon when he grows weak…that is coming. I’ve heard plans on being an army from Faerûn through a portal.”

“That requires some real power, there aren’t many ways to open a portal in the Everlands,” Ascondia stated softly “It would explain what they wanted with me, the easiest ways are for me or Stacy to open those portals,”

“There are of course other ways, enough mages in the right place, and its not like Ceremon struggles to draw in people who want to cause chaos and misery” Kane added as he watched Domi for a moment “But at least we have a good idea of their next move, and unfortunately we are running out of time”

“We need to end this soon Kane, we have everything we need, we hit Elvera before they try to pull this off and maybe we can end this” Hades retorted sharply “We need to stop sitting on our hands, the children are born that’s why you were holding off, we have dragons, unicorns, dires half the realm is on our side, we outnumber their living easily, we can end this”

“One step wrong and we lose everything..” Ascondia started only to get cut off by Kane

“He’s right, we’re out of time, get some rest everyone, tomorrow we end this” He turned to face Aishani “Now our daughter is home, we really should name them?”

Jade moved close to Hades now, while placing a hand on his shoulder. “I agree, this needs to end. If not for peace of mind, for the twins. Already they have tasted what it is like during war…We are a strong family and will stop at nothing to bring this fight to an end.”

Aishani was watching the twins, gurgle and speak to each other, but, turned her gaze to the others in the room. “Yes, a good nights rest will be good for all of this. After breakfast in the morning we will come with our plan to push back the forces and finish this. It has gone on for far too long. We have the future here before us and can not make it without keeping that in mind.”

Jade nodded in agreement, gathering Hades’s hand to lead him from the room. Domi lingered for a moment, though, awkwardly stepped out into the hallway with the others.

“In all this, I haven’t thought of a name for the children…perhaps, that makes me a terrible parent…” Aishani chuckled, while the girl looked to her with a scrunch of her brow causing her nose to crinkle, as though scolding her.

“You’ve been busy, worrying, giving birth, fighting a war, don’t be so hard on yourself” Aerian smiled softly before she made her way to the door “We’ll leave you be for the night, rest well”

She ducked out of the room and standing in the hall looked from Domi to Virra “He can take a guest room, or he can come with us?” It was an opportunity for Virra to hit the brakes on what was likely about to occur, a soft smile from Aerian as she took her hand leading her back toward the entrance hall and to their cottage. Virra knew Aerian would not mind her decision nor would she force the issue, but a gentle reminder that for the moment they were stuck with him.

Domi stood a few feet away, hands linked with the strap of his weapon’s belt, appearing to be standing awkwardly a way away. Virra glanced to him then to Aerian, rolling her shoulder with a chuckle, though, curling her hand within Aerian’s. “He reminds me of a lost puppy…this is so out of his element.” Though, glanced over her shoulder with a whistle. “C’mon, boy. You can sleep in the front room in the cottage.”

He looked to them then to the closed door of the master suite, pushing from his lean against the wall. “I’m not a fucking dog.”

Virra laughed even more, turning and patting her legs as though calling the canine companion. “C’mon, boy! Whose a good boy!”

Domi appeared irritated though growled and gave chase after her.

[Ending A War] A Boy, Two Thieves and the Illusionist

Aerian slid through another crack in another wall as they had tracked Xulljra one of the abandoned cities, she just wasn’t sure how close they were at this point.

“How the fuck does this happen” She muttered angrily, she had been griping the whole time angry someone had walked right into their home and taken her step sister. “How do you walk into the Mansion with a hundred fucking guards and walk out with a baby? My father’s child!”

She ran her hand along her blade for a moment before she crouched to look at tracks in the dirt, “She knows she’s being followed, or is at least assuming so, trying to lead us in circles,”

Virra was silent while Aerian griped, watching as she squatted down to inspect the ground. Finally she spoke, her voice clear and icy. “Hm. Perhaps, Xulljra, doesn’t even have the child. If she has time to draw us in circles the fact of lending the time to spare on such then she wouldn’t have your step-brother.”

The tracks indeed seemed to lead them in a wide circle, between trees and then disappearing with only a trace again, then heavier footprints. “She is utilizing the trees. Difficult with a child so young.”

“I remember Aishani saying she has two sisters? If they are both in on this, having said that the advantage is still ours, if I were her I would be assuming Dad would come after me, maybe Aishani and Hades as well, she isn’t going to be expecting a retired bounty hunter and her fiancée,” Aerian smiled softly “So for now we have that, There’s nothing to west but the mountains and well Arak’neth has those mountains protected in her absence, South leads back to Dentarius and every guard between us and there are looking for her, so north into abandoned part of he realm, destroyed by the dragons or east toward Elvera,”

“It is possible, though, we don’t have any tracks that are different to back that up. So, for now, all we have is assumptions and that is not what we need.” Virra looked around her, while walking slowly. The new moon offering no light in the forest that was by nature just as dark this time of night. Though, all the wildlife was still and silent, even the nocturnal beasts, it was account of the war or perhaps disturbed recently. Such was difficult to tell.

“Well, we can clearly exclude two of the four options. Now, if I was to meet up with someone, I would definitely not return to Dentarius…so that leaves by gut one option remaining. What was it that your Pops said…she was a master illusionist or something? That could explain the way she was able to enter the mansion undetected and since she technically didn’t kill Stacy that didn’t affect the wards.”

“Didn’t free mom, or try to kill her either, which makes me think my sister was always the intended target, maybe Z’ress plans to replace Aishani or some other whacked out plan, I swear to the gods if they harm her,” Aerian snapped back her hand blocking Virras path as an arrow hit the tree to the side of them “Bitch has help, well that answers that question I suppose”

“I wonder exactly how long, Xulljra has been in the castle…” Virra commented idly, while it appeared the arrow that quivered in the tree didn’t cause hesitation in her thought process. Though, she looked to the arrow now, running a finger over the feathers, then looked into the darkness. She grabbed Aerian by the arm and flung her to the ground, as another slew of arrows screamed over head, the hesitation and pause gave way that it was one archer. “Shit. We are walking into an ambush.” Virra then lowered her hands down to the knives strapped on her legs extending them into a fan on her palms. “They want to play hard…then so be it. I can’t play just as dirty. I know those feathers and that SHITTY AIM! You are trying to draw us into another area, like cattle. We are some fat SOWS!” She hollered.

“You know this asshole shooting at us?” Aerian chuckled, “Knew I should have brought my bow, but didn’t want to get cluttered down, how about I give him something to aim and you go take him down? Try not to kill him, he may be the only way we get answers, if not well then you can kill him or her either way”

“Unfortunately, I do.” Virra nodded briefly, as it appeared she was tense, more so then usual. But, then she dodged out of sight, leaving Aerian to be the bait.

It wasn’t long before a figure appeared, wearing a black hoodie that was not zipped but straps across his chest. Aerian saw black dreads flowing down from beneath the hood, which was shaded enough to not reveal the face of the individual. But, his form was conditioned and muscular, not unattractively so. His hands were gloved, while as on a shoulder rested a bow, with a quiver bound to his back. “She left you? A lamb to the slaughter. I will enjoy this.” His voice was deep, baritone in a rather strong and masculine.

Aerian remained crouched her hand resting on the blade at her back as she watched the figure emerge “She is not bound to me, she cums and she goes, works for us”

Aerian was flippant in her words with a smirk, as she watched him “I suppose you already know that though, and by my guess wondering why they sent me and not my father? Assuming of course your working for the psycho bitch that took my sister,”

“I work for the side that holds the most benefit. Right now, that is the bitch that is even crazier then Z’ress. I won’t lie, she can work wonders with that tight mouth on my cock. But, that is no matter. I have you now, you will be my key to raising in Ceremon’s ranks. You see, after Virra’s father never returned, I took it upon myself to take his place. Only now, there is nothing but ruins remaining. Z’ress and Ceremon can burn in an eternal fire together. I don’t give a shit.” He removed his hood, to expose his features. His skin was copper in hue, as he held high strong cheekbones and hazel eyes, proud lips that would possibly make women quiver. Aerian swore that she had seen individuals like him when she was but a child, yet, could not be sure. It was of the Earthly realm. A Native.

“Oh, shut the fuck up, Domi.” Virra suddenly said, dropping down behind him and drawing a blade over his neck.

He didn’t flinch, nor react other than a smirk forming on his lips. “Ah, Virra… The one girl that refused to give me anything other then a fight…”

Aerian actually looked amused by his words “Your just not,” she rolled her shoulders “Well let’s just say you’re not equipped to handle my girl,” she couldn’t help the chuckle, “So you worked for her dad, tried to get in her pants and got shot down, got hired my head case grandfather, your boss pissed off my step mom and she kinda spilled his blood all over our jail cell floors, quite a bitch to clean up. And then you fall into the employ of Xulljra, who blows you and you aid her in kidnapping my sister, and in the process REALLY pissing off my step mom, and my dad and both are out to kill one or all people involved, your odds my friend do not look good here”

She stopped in though “Did I miss anything baby?”

“Nope. I think you got it all. But, one more thing. You though you used them…but, you are a tool and right now, you are a distraction from Xulljra escaping. You have fulfilled your purpose and now are of no use to them. They could not care less from this point forward, that which happens to you.” Virra pressed the dagger more tightly against his throat, as a sudden realization formed on his face in defeat. “So in all this, you are a loose pawn now. Which side will you choose, Domi?” She parted her lips to drag the slick tongue sluggishly over his cheek, watching Aerian. “What should we do with him, Firefly?”

Aerian drew her own blade as she closed in on him now “I would like to cut his throat and walk away, he did try to put an arrow in our heads,” she spun the blade in the palm of her hand with a smirk “But that makes me no better than him, and my dad is always telling me not to kill unless we have to, so” She placed the blade against his groin and drew it up along his body slowly “If he tells us where she’s going, maybe we can work something out?”

Domi was now between to females, with weapons drawn. One against his neck preventing him from moving while the other was running hers against his frame. He only had one choice and he knew it by the look in his eyes. “She is going back to Ceremon and Z’ress but had to make a detour north to avoid getting caught. I…I can help you.”

“Well that was easy,” Aerian smiled as removed her blade from his body and tucked it away “But just so we’re clear, I have no reason to trust you and Virra apparently really doesn’t like you,” She stopped looking to Virra “He really that bad? I mean he doesn’t look the gentlemanly type, and he did try and put an arrow in you, and not in the good way either”

Aerian squared her shoulders “But either way help us and we will consider letting you go, you never know might even get to see something fun, but try and get us killed, or try to kill us and well I’m sure you can put it better baby,”

Domi appeared relieved at Aerian’s words, even more so after the blade from Virra was removed, his shoulders lessening in tension. Virra spun the dagger in her hand to sheath at her hip, moving to stand beside Aerian. “He wasn’t so bad, we are the same age and he was going through a hormonal stage. Though, he did respect when I told him no, I’ll give him that much. But, right now, he holds information that could be beneficial in getting your step-sister back. You forget, I did attack Ascondia, your father and Aishani before I was drawn in by them. I haven’t looked back, though, it is amusing that Domi is in the same position.”

“We more or less grew up together.” Domi stated, while a smirk formed on his lips. “Oh, I do enjoy fun. But, you want your step-sister. I will help you to get her back, I never cared for their plan in the first place.”

“Yea, does seem a little strange he’s where you were a year ago, but we freely give chances, as long as you prove useful, you can stay with us, once we find Xulljra and my sister you can go where you wish and we wont stop you” Aerian stopped to look at him “Sound fair?”

Domi looked between the two, resolutely sighing. “Doesn’t seem I have much of a choice in it.”

Virra smirked and patted him rather hard in the back, causing him to stumble forward. “Well get to it then.”

Domi cast her a glare then chuckled. “Very well. Follow me. That is if being with an Elcarus hadn’t softened you.” He took off and vaulted into a tree. Waiting for them before continuing north, leading from one tree limb to another. Virra easily kept up with him as our appeared it was a challenge between old comrades.

Aerian didn’t miss a step as well placed foot and grabbing of a branch vaulted her up behind them, staying behind Virra and Domi. There was a grace to each move she made, landing on a branch before leaping to the next, a throw back to hers days a bounty hunter, which for Aerian just made it fun.
Suddenly she extended her stride enough to land within ear shot of Domi “Maybe if you’re a good boy I’ll consider paying you for your help, maybe that will help you feel a little better, not quite a slavers traders wage, but enough to make sure your comfortable, and taken care of in any way you need, I’m not unreasonable I just don’t like people coming into my home and taking what isn’t theirs, makes me very cranky,”

“I didn’t take a damn thing.” Domi muttered while glancing to Virra then spoke clear to Aerian. “We have to be careful. We are nearing their camp and rendezvous point.”

Virra nodded to him, it seemed that she too was enjoying this jaunt through the trees as much as Aerian.

Domi took off again only this time he was more cautious in his sounds and movement through the trees. Until he stopped and lowered himself down to the ground, Virra followed and he pointed to something ahead.

What they saw was a carriage and five soldiers outside. Next was a sight, Ascondia was present with a bundle in her arms and climbing within.

As the sight below unfold Aerian froze, something she hadn’t considered since learning of Xulljra capabilities was that her vision was in fact not implicating her mother at all, she leant back to regain her composure “Jeez you think being able to see the future I would have seen that coming, you know I can’t go down there,”

Her heart hammered in her head as she felt panic rise through her, another thing Aerian was far from accustomed to, but this wasn’t just about her anymore. “But we can’t let them get to Elvera either,”

Virra seemed to register Aerian’s words now, glancing to her then to Domi. “Looks like it is you and me.”

“Like old times. We made a killer pair.” Domi nodded taking position with his bow. The form was expert in the square shoulders and posture and now Aerian saw the gloves specially made for archery.

Virra nodded and began to run at the men around the coach with knives flying, daggers then drawn. Just at that same time an arrow screamed plunging into the drivers neck. Watching it was like an intimate dance, Virra moved with dealt precision and Domi covered her sending arrows after those behind her.

The fight was over just as quickly as it began but no one left the carriage.

Aerian crept closer as she watched the scene below, she knew better than to get close to things down there, at least until Xulljra was in their custody.
Once the fight had ended, Virra went to the carriage to open the door but stopped and stared. Leaning in and what she withdrew was a note and swaddled rock, looking at it confused. Domi tucked his bow into the quiver and joined her with confusion on his face as well. They both left the carriage to hand Aerian the note.

–So close. But not quite.–

Aerian raised a brow in confusion looking to Domi, and then to Virra “How the hell did she slip past three of us?”

Virra inhaled deeply, though, Domi looked to Aerian with his hazel eyes. “Perhaps she was never here to begin with…”

“I saw mum, I saw her, we all did?” Aerian snapped back, her emerald eyes blazed with frustration as she kicked at one of dead soldiers.

Virra went to place a hand on Aerian’s shoulder, in order to seek calming her. Domi moved into the carriage the wood and wheels creaking a slight but then he emerged. “Runes are all over within the carriage…” Just as he spoke, they saw Ascondia go to the open door but she was transparent, appearing to go through a series of repetitive movements. Once within it took a time for the scene to play out once again, that is when Domi closed the door and it stopped. “She is a master of illusion… That bitch tricked me.”

“I’m going to fucking kill her” Aerian snarled angrily as she drew a dagger and launched it into the carriage door, her emerald eyes appeared to be now blazing as she snarled in frustration.

“Calm down Aerian” The figure shimmered in, tall dark haired and a presence about him that drew your attention “She’s not that far ahead, she needed time to set up the illusion and buy of guards to sell out their lives, losing your head is not going to help”

“Haunted? Your supposed to fucking watching over my sister not wasting time!” Aerian barked darkly

“I have my eyes on her, advantages of being dead, now get your ass in gear and get after this bitch before she gets back to Elvera and vanishes behind walls you can’t penetrate, you have a day at best to catch her before you hit an army of dead a hundred and fifty thousand strong that surround the castle on all sides,” Haunted replied firmly. His tone remained level even if the look on his face said he was not used to his neice speaking to him in such a way.

Aerian walked to the carriage as she eyed Domi carefully, before snatching her dagger from the door and placing it back at her hip, “We need a better plan than playing catch up”

Virra looked to Aerian as her act of comfort wasn’t accepted or acknowledged. Though as Haunted came to present, a small smirk appeared on her lips. But by that time Domi was walking away after checking the ground, heading in the direction of Elvera.

Virra then looked to Aerian and took her hand to drag her after her. “We could use the help of unicorns or dire wolves right about now.”

“She’s on foot. Difficult to carry a new born on a horse.” Domi said from ahead, while his backside was rather enticing.

“He’s got a cute butt…” Virra snickered, while trying to lighten Aerian’s mood.

“Who Domi or Uncle Haunted?” Aerian teased in reply, as she watched Domi she felt a sudden urge creep through her, “I think Deshan hunts around here somewhere, she may be able to help, Uncle Haunted mind going and looking for her for us?”

Haunted nodded and vanished into the aether of the realm almost as quickly as he’d appeared, meanwhile Aerian watched Domi once more”Hey Domi, take a look at this,” She called and almost immediately turned into a deep kiss with Virra.

Virra snickered while lowering her hand to curl into Aerian’s, as they walked behind Domi enjoying the view. But as Aerian called to him, he turned to look in their direction expecting clearly that they found something. Instead his eyes grew large in surprise, as a smirk formed on his lips.

Virra fell into the kiss with fervor, in the departure gently she drug her teeth lightly against Aerian’s plump lower lip. Then laughed in the departure, pulling Aerian closer.

The shock melted away to irritation as he flipped them off and began to walk more briskly ahead.

Virra lightly spanked Aerian. “You’re bad…”

“I can be” Aerian replied dangerously, a tease in her voice now as she moved to catch upto Domi “Don’t sulk, I’m just trying to lighten the mood, or hmm maybe I’m just a big tease with bad intentions,”

She stopped as she looked at the sky overhead, one of the rare breaks in the canopy of the forest overhead, “Damn it’s going to be dark soon,”

“What, do you turn into a pumpkin at dark?” Domi chuckled while glancing to her. “I couldn’t give a shits less, what mood you are in. That was just cruel, two beautiful and strong women, making out before me? I can’t lie that made my dick twitch.”

“That’s all it will do. Keep that snake locked away. ” Virra moved to Aerian’s side now, following her gaze upwards, then looked to the red-head, shaking her head with a smirk. “You know, we should really continue to move. We need the upper hand in this, Xulljra doesn’t know the area and will have to camp. Any advantage we can take will have to be exploited the best we can.”

“Was hoping for more than a twitch” Aerian smiled darkly “But anyway we need to slow this bitch down, the best places to put down for the night aren’t so far ahead, Aerian froze now as a pair of eyes appeared in the tree line, a dark amber as they looked at the three.

Finally the pale grey wolf slinked from the forest and made its way to Domi, circling him slowly before moving to Virra, finally closing on Aerian and stopping before sitting infront of her, “Deshan, such drama”

Aerian shook her head with a smile “You find her” the wolf simply ignored her licking its paw for a moment before looking back to Aerian.

“She has a small camp not too far ahead, her and two heavily armed guards, and a baby, which is who you are looking for right?” The wolfs voice was soft and female as she spoke she kept her eye on Aerian.

“My step sister, born to my father and his wife, taken without our consent” Aerian replied softly

“Or knowledge, else why else would you be out here? They know you can track, but even you need help? One smells like you and the other is just lucky to be here?” There was an amusement to her tone now as she spoke.

“He is helping us, me and my fiancée, retrieve my sister, then we plan to end this war,” Aerian replied

“With wolves and dragons and Unicorns the full force of The Everlands thrown against a single city, still that is for another day, we can come through the forest through the dire lair,” Deshan stated softly “She wont see or even smell you coming, you’ll have the advantage and trust me when I say you’re going to need it,”

Virra glanced to Aerian surprise, written on her normally composed features to the mention of more then a twitch. She then chuckled with an amused shake of her head, though, stopped mid-step as the amber eyes appeared from the tree line. A hand on her dagger’s hilts, though, hesitated as the wolf that slunk out appeared to circle Domi, whom actually surpassed Virra and had his hunter’s knife withdrawn. When the wolf plopped down and Aerian spoke, Virra relaxed with a chuckle and Domi returned his knife to it’s sheath.

“Then we don’t have a moment to loose.” Virra commented gathering Aerian’s hand.

“You two are engaged?” Domi stared at Virra and then Aerian, his mouth hung open.

“Oh, close that trap, else you will catch more then bugs…” Virra muttered appearing annoyed by his comment, though, flicking him on the nose in the passing. “Show us the way, Deshan.”

“Stay with me, my pack are hungry and intolerant of those with two legs,” Deshan warned darkly “The dires don’t trust many, so if you stray its on your own head”

Aerian looked at Domi with a smirk before looking to Virra “Better no get ourselves eaten in a less than fun way then,” Every word Aerian said had been deliberate as she drew Virras hand to her lips, the group disappearing back into the forest following Deshan.

Suddenly the ground dropped into low path that disappeared into a darkened cave. As Aerian slowed she looked beyond the cave into the darkness.

“You have a light spell?” Deshan asked as she rounded on them now, Aerian nodded and flicked a small ball of light into the air, Deshan seemingly smiled and again led them on an into the cave. The cave was full of dires, all of them now eying up their visitors.

Domi caught Aerian’s smirk and comment, chuckling while moving to stand near to Aerian. “I like her, Virra.” He said in amusement.

Virra cast him an irritated glance, then to Aerian as the kiss upon her hand caused her to relax. “Keep dreaming, lover boy.”

He simply shrugged while moving with the two women and the dire wolf through the forest, all the while all of them were aware of their surroundings. Once at the drop to the ground, Virra removed her hand from Aerian’s to allow her time to project the ball of light, a faint smirk on Virra’s ruby lips in the flickering shadows.

Once within the cave, the term within a wolf’s den gave new meaning, while they walked through. The sense of prey was thick in the air while the dire wolves watched them with critical and mistrusting canine eyes. Virra returned her hand to Aerian’s, allowing for the creatures to acknowledge their relationship while Domi kept close to the woman. At one point, Aerian felt him bump into her bottom but then a passing hand was upon her cheek, she could tell he had strong hands and rather large, but not freakishly so, such of a man. Virra hissed to Domi at one point, perhaps, he was copping a feel at both.

Aerian growled at his touch, nothing more than a polite tease in response, as the low humof the dires could be heard Aerian pulled herself togther “Alright we’d better knock this game of sexy cat and mouse on the head for now, else we will actually be lunch”

“My pack is hungry, dragons in our skies, it does not make us easy about hunting” Deshan rumbled darkly, the path curved and then began to lead back up, the sound of water ahead told them they would soon be clear of the caves.

“Hunt and eat, the dragons are bound to my father by the laws he set down, they will not harm you or yours, my father has his pact with you and yours as well, we will honour them” Aerian replied softly.

The path dipped and Aerian felt her feet get wet as she groaned “The river?”

Deshan chuckled “A short way, she is camped right on the edge, you will have no further trouble with finding her, I will have a small pack ensure she doesn’t run again”

Virra glanced to Aerian. “You started it.” She chuckled, though glanced down at the water. “Very impressive, Deshan. Tell you what… your wolves are hungry and we are about to kill a bitch. So why don’t we more then help each other out?”

Domi was further away now, but crouched low and pointed. “I smell smoke and see flames in the distance.” He straightened as Virra stood at his side. “Have your pack block any exit but the river, it is harder to cast amidst running water.”

“I really should have brought my bow, could take the bitch out from here and never have to fucking worry” Aerian muttered darkly as she crouched between Virra and Domi, her eyes on the fires ahead.

“You are half-angel and vampire, do you really NEED the bow and arrow?” Virra smacked her on the bottom, while moving forward to utilize a path for the others to follow and tread softly on the water with as little sound as possible. Domi glanced to Aerian with a impish grin, this sparked in his hazel eyes, causing him to be attractive, handing her his bow and quiver.

When they arrived closer, they found the sight of four heavily armored men gathered around a fire with a tent set up not to far. Suddenly a scream shattered the silence, as it appeared to be the cry from a baby, it was panicked and shrill. Inside this tent was a figure moving while rocking something in the arms.

Aerian drew two arrows, knocking them as she crouched on the waters edge, as she let lose the arrows were on target and clean taking two of the guards down the other two further back within the camp had their backs turned and were unaware of the sudden turn in numbers.

Aerian slid up to Virra “Don’t need the bow, I just prefer to even my odds, now how about you and Domi go shut the other two up before they notice the new holes in their buddies heads, then we can deal with the shape changing gutter whore, and go home,” she kissed Virras neck gently.

Virra glanced to Aerian at the kiss to her neck, nipping playfully in her direction. Domi did his best to ignore the interaction between the two but Aerian caught the sideways glance from his eyes. Though, Virra and Domi worked like an oiled machine together, moving silently behind the remaining two men, each slitting the throat of the man with hand over the mouths. Quietly dropping them, and waving in Aerian, still now it seemed as though the screaming from the baby was trying to tell them where she was.

They waved over Aerian now, sights fixed on the tent. Closer there was a figure within trying to coddle the child and silence the cries. Virra and Domi with Aerian snuck to the tent, pushing the flap. Everything happened seeming at once, when they entered Domi cried out in pain and crumbled to his knees holding his head.

Standing in the warm tent was a woman, a female drow. She had snow white hair that flowed beautifully down to her waist, white eyebrows appeared to be drawn on her face while her skin was an incredible shade of black and her eyes were crimson. Upon her was a purple dress that held a slit to the hip on the right side, the scoop neck revealed far more skin then what would deem necessary. The female was stunning, elegant and oozed female prowess. In her arms was a bundle, the golden eyes were wide and frightened, while the small round face was a pale ashen skin tone and the tiny bud shaped lips were open to reveal the horrid pitched sound. “This is beginning to be even more a problem then I had figured…” Her voice was the most alluring thing, a husky tone dipped in honey.

Aerian felt a prickle through her body, she silently squared her shoulders as she knelt beside Domi “Shake it off, we need you right now” her words were soft as she laid a hand on his shoulder a short flicker a electricty darted over him, enough to dull the ache in his head.

“You have my sister, and I am running out of patience,” Aerian stated darkly as she rose back to her feet, “Your sister wants her baby back, funny thing though she said nothing about the state you were to be left in,”

Xulljra remained calm and poised, as the baby squirmed and wailed. Those crimson eyes fixed on Aerian, while Domi was helped to stand by Virra, left panting as her will over him was dulled. Suddenly Xulljra began to laugh, it was cold, cruel even a little maniacal. “You really think, I fear you, child?” She looked down to the babe in her arms. “This infant is an abomination to the bloodline that the House Tor’tar stand for being of the Twelve.”

Virra was too distracted with supporting Domi and it happened fast. She tossed the child and with a force utilized a dork to push a path to escape the tent.

Xulljra was able to push past knocking Aerian who’s attention was on the falling child, a sudden rustle and the air fell deathly cold, as the child’s ascent slowed Aerian was able to pluck the young girl from the air.

As she got to the small infant she smiled softly before handing her off to Virra “You need to hold her right now” she whispered as the hand off occured Aerian buckled to the ground.

Virra accepted the baby, though, before Aerian could fall to the ground she felt a sudden support from behind her with surprisingly strong hands, a look back, Domi was behind her. “Firefly, are you okay?” Virra asked, concern in her voice while leaning forward the infant held her arms out to Aerian. “I think, she likes you.”

Aerian coughed hard as she felt the power drain before she turned with a smile to Domi “Your quick, thanks” She looked to young child now her eyes settlin as she smiled softly.

“I’m OK, I think, same vein as the judgement blade unlike mom I cant stop or reverse or hop through time, but I can slow it just enough to stop a baby from hitting the ground, something about the way mom and dad, damnit I couldn’t explain it if I tried. Except I don’t unless I have to,”she sighed softly “I’ll be feeling that one for a while”

She finally extracted herself from Domis grasp before walking to Virra and her sister, “We should get her home, then we can all rest easier together” Aerian stated gently.

“Well, it seems that she is grateful.” Virra said softly, looking down to the child, those golden eyes were intelligent and the lips formed into a smile and an excited gurgle. She looked to Domi then to Aerian. “Seems, she escaped…”

Domi suddenly adjusted with Aerian in support to sweep her off her feet, held in his arms which were surprisingly solid, hidden beneath his hoodie. “I think, we should cut our losses. At least, your sister is safe.” He said softly, while looking to Virra with a child. “You know, you actually look good like that…”

“Oh, fuck you, Domi.” Virra snapped while her voice was irritated, though, expression softened as the tiny hand clamped upon a finger. “Let’s head back.”

“We ALL?” Domi said with a smirk, clearly utilizing Aerian’s words against her. “I like that idea.”

Virra pushed past the tent flap with a roll of her eyes and shake of her head.

Aerian smirked as Domi reiterated her words, as she sauntered past she stumbled allowing him to glance down the deep valley of her breasts push tightly together by the top she wore, “The baby likes Virra and she kinda likes you, well she hasn’t killed you yet anyway, come on lover boy, we could use the help to end this war”

Domi glanced over his shoulder to Virra’s leave, then to the visual that Aerian presented, licking his lips but swept her off her feet to be held in his arms. “That is the only good thing that is coming.” He said calmly, walking through the tent flap, but he was strong and carried Aerian as though she weighed next to nothing. It was time for the trio to return back to the estate with the infant and Aerian’s sister. Now, in her position held in her arms, she got a good look at him. The strength in his jawline and high cheekbones addition of the copper skin tone, gave him an exotic appearance. There was something different about him, but, the fact that Virra hadn’t killed him meant something.

[Ending A War] Grams, Eggs And Death Root

Aerian stretched as they walked through the forest, it was good to be out of the confines of the Mansion, but the air seemed far more dangerous than usual, it was a comfort to Aerian to know Shadow would remain close by as she and Virra headed toward one of Virras contacts.
“So what’s the deal with this woman? Should we be worried we’ll get turned over to Z’ress and my grandfather? Can we trust her?” There was an air of caution in her voice, it was rare Aerian ever heard Virra speak of things that were not related to the time they knew each other or things they had already discussed.
Virra chuckled as she walked steadily alongside, Aerian. Leather donned as the first day that they had met, black with deep purple in the bodice. Her hips glistened with the dangerous tap of sheathed daggers while her thick muscular thighs held wrappings of throwing knives, Virra was dressed to kill and especially with the shroud of her dark glossy hair gave the impression of a apparition amongst the forest. “Nah, she is the closest I ever had to a female in my life since the death of my Mum. She is a very wise, old. Knows the forest like the back of her hand and taught me as such. Think of her like a wise grandmother. Taught me about herbs and poisons, if ever I needed something she would help. Old Mother Greta.” Virra seemed to know exactly where they were going. “I’m sure, she will be glad to meet you.”
After a day’s walk and breeching on the second, Aerian knew they had entered the very heart of the forest. Such an area that was forbidden, for reasons that she never understood but Virra carried on as though there was nothing troubling her. That is when they arrived to a small square stone hut with a grass roof, smoke was rising from the chimney and a wooden porch surrounded the front of the small house, a fence surrounded the outside with a garden on either side, vegetables and herbs. Seated on a wooden rocking chair was a hunched over woman, appearing to be aged with a pleated face and dark eyes. Her hair must have been black at some point, though, now it was peppered with only specks of dark and wirey. That old face suddenly crinkled with a wide smile, placing a basket down and gathering a cane. “Is that you, V?” The crackle of the voice asked.
Virra moved up and rushed to embrace the older woman tightly. “Yes, it is, Gram.”
“Oh! Ho! Careful, ye break my bones!” Greta leaned back with a smile, patting Virra on the shoulders and caressed her face. “Ye, just get more and more beautiful.” Those dark eyes settled on Aerian behind. “Who is this beauty!?”
Aerian watched old woman for a few moments, then quickly tried to work out if she recognised this part of the forest, though it was a big forest. As she was addressed Aerian bowed lightly “Aerian Elcarus, milady, I’m with Virra” it sounded awkward but there it was all the same.
“Oh! Ah! An Elcarus!?” Greta laughed and tried to smooth her hair and look her best, the pleated skin smiling to her from thin lips.
Virra stepped back and offered her hand back to Aerian, inviting the red-head to join her. “Yes, Gram. Firefly, here, is my fiancée.”
Greta puffed up and then seemed so excited, moving to usher the two girls within her home. “Oh, it is celebration. Congratulations to the two of you. I knew my V was suited for not just anyone. I have stew cooking, I am sure that you are both hungry.”
Virra glanced to Aerian for a moment, giving her hand a squeeze. “We are, though, Gram, we can’t stay long.”
“Pfft. Of course you can. I haven’t seen you in years.” The old woman stopped and sat. “Oh…you are here for something specific aren’t you. V! Shame on you for only visiting when you need something. I remember a little girl that used to run away and visit me for weeks to learn.”
“We can stay for a little while,” Aerian smiled softly “While time is an issue in such things, we can slow down for a beat, honestly I could use the rest Virra,”
Aerian breathed deeply as she felt the realm around her for a moment before pushing it clear and looking back to Virra “Besides we’ve been on the road, and I could use a decent meal, and then your Grams can tell me all about you” she teased
Greta practically beamed to Aerian’s words. “She got a good head on her shoulders! Sit, sit! I’ll get the bowls. Oh yes, Virra was a spirited child.”
“Oh, Gram,” Virra rolled her eyes even though she was smirking.
The old woman went to fill bowls and say down. There was much laughter and teasing, while Aerian learned of Virra’s playful antics as a child. Though found out that she was insistent on learning herbs and from there made poisons. The air was light and cheerful. As the old woman clearly didn’t get many guests due to her chatter. It was clear to Aerian the bond between the two was unbreakable and full of possibly Thurs only love until Aerian in her life.
Aerian ate and listened and for the first time in a while forget the world around them, as the sun began to sink Aerian listened more. Until finally the sun was gone and it was dark beyond the cabin and the clearing.
“You were correct earlier when you suspected our motivations, we are looking to procure death root, I’m sure you know it isn’t easy to come by, Virra thought you may be able to help,” She tried to keep her tone apologetic but she was sincere in wanting to hear more.
“Death root? Heavens! What do you need that poisonous sap for?” Greta asked with surprise in her platter weathered face.
Virra glanced to Aerian then took her hand. “We were sent to gather it for Kane Elcarus. As you know there is a war and it is needed to recover and place an order to memories that have scrambled.”
“Mm…eggs. I have not had such in a long time. Though this is dangerous, Virra. You know something such as this I require payment. But I know you have not now. Bring me a rooster and hen when you come and visit again. You will come won’t you?”
“We will,” Aerian smiled in reply “And we will bring payment, though we can provide more than one?”
“Fresh eggs…I have not had those straight from a chicken for many years.” Greta had a dreamy look in her eyes.
“Gram! Gram!” Virra said firmly to bring the older woman back to present. “The Death Root.”
“Oh yes, yes!” Greta laughed and stood to move to a drying rack to a cupboard, opening it and lifting a small box. It appeared to be a tobacco snuff box, no larger then a few inches long and two inches wide with an inch and half thick. “Here you go. I do not need to warm you about avoiding skin contact, yes?”
“I remember, Gram.” Virra accepted the box to hand to Aerian and kissed the older woman sweetly. “Thank you. Next time you see us, I will bring chickens.”
Aerian bowed gently “Thank you, we will ensure you get those chickens I promise, and we really do appreciate your help” Aerian stepped back to stand beside Virra, “We should start getting back, else dad will send half the Dentarian Army looking for us,”
Greta pulled Aerian into a sudden hug. “Don’t be so modest girl!” But then released her while Virra simply smirked.
“See you soon, Gram,” Virra said taking Aerian’s hand to lead her from the warmth and coziness of the hut.
Shadow was seen in a flicker of eyes in a tree, but Virra chuckled. “I miss the old coot…”
“She seems nice, not what I was expecting considering you are normally so outwardly tough, not many people get to see the gooey inside of you,” Aerian teased with a dark smile, as they made their way back through the forest.
“You see that and feel much more.” Virra chuckled with an indecent gesture with her fingers. “Don’t break my cover.” She curled an arm around Aerian’s waist to pull her close in their walk.
Aerian laughed “Wouldn’t dream of it,” She smiled before pouncing on Virra sending her into the dirt and kissing her deeply “But then you see more of me than anyone so fairs fair right?”
Virra was taken off guard by the shift of balance and grunted as her back slammed into the dirt. Embracing Aerian within her arms and melting into the intensity of the kiss, but suckled on her lower lip in the part. A hand slithered fingers into the fiery threads. “What did I do to deserve you…?” Virra whispered looking into Aerian’s eyes.
Aerian stared into Virra eyes for a moment “Erm,” she smiled wickedly before leaning down against her ear, words were spoken barely above a whisper “You hit me in head, really hard, saved my life and then stole my heart,”
Virra chuckled with a smirk, looking to Aerian. “Is that what I did?” She teased coyly, taking this moment to take her legs within Aerian’s to switch positions and pin the red head beneath her. “Don’t regret it do you?”
“Not for a moment” She replied, “I’ve never felt more satisfied in my life” she let words roll off her tongue complete with double meaning now as she watched her lover above her “What about you? Ever wonder if it was a bad iudea throwing in with the enemy?”
She learned down gliding her slick muscle against Aerian’s neck, pausing to bite upon a sweet spot. “The only thing I regret is that this war is too long. You stole my heart with the never ending flame that burns in your heart.”
“I know chaos and destructions seems to follow our family, which is kinda sucky as we do everything we can to avoid it,” Aerian replied softly as she moaned to the bite “But if you hadn’t have found me, we’d be preparing to march on Elvera with you and your dad inside, I’d be walking into my death and Dad would bring Elvera to the ground with everyone inside, you and I have been able to change that outcome, together, just like we will keep doing,”
Virra nipped on Aerian’s ear, as the warm breath washed over her skin. “Indeed. Now before your Pops men find us tangled in exotic pleasure, let’s set back to give the root to him and retire to the cottage. I can barely wait for my lips to taste your sweet flesh and hear those screams of passion.”
“Mmmm you do know how to speak to my pants,” Aerian laughed as she waited for Virra to get up before rolling to her feet herself. “I haven’t asked, but how are you about things? Your dad and all that?” Aerian was careful how she phrased the question but she wanted Virra to know if she needed to talk Aerian would always be there to listen.
Virra glanced sharply to Aerian, though took her hand as they continued to walk through the forest to Dentarius. “My father…at one time was a good man. After the death of my mother, he was never the same. Never treated me like his daughter or one of the men. I was constantly attempting to prove myself and he never cared. Yes, he was my Pops once, but that man died a long time ago. Aishani…simply put him out of his misery. It was a death he deserved…”
“Yea, kinda like my Grandad, he went mad after grandma died, now we’re picking up the pieces, guess it’s something in the women leaving men in this realm,” Aerian sighed softly.
“It wasn’t that…every time that he looked at me he saw his wife.” She sighed and stopped to look at the Elcarus mansion. “I’ll miss the man he was, but the man I never knew.”
Aerian nodded softly an understanding to her words as she held her hand. They walked through the forest which was alive with sounds of animals hunting in the dark, a roar of a dragon in the distance.
“Well you have me now, and Dad, Aishani, Uncle H, and Jade, sort of stuck with a family even if you weren’t looking for one,”
Virra chuckled, as her leather clad thumb brushed upon Aerian’s hand. “Funny thing that. I had no family and now…I’m part of a family. I though wouldn’t change a thing.”
“It’s funny how fighting to protect someone you love, can change the world” Aerian replied softly
“I never thought about it before…Ceremon, Z’ress are fighting for themselves. They only love themselves, impossible to love others…”
“Dad always said that was difference, we fought for each other, to protect the realm and ourselves, in the end, that’s why we are able to affect change as we do, you’ve seen us do it, you’ve been a part of us changing the path,” Aerian replied with a smile “You were brought here for your strength and your courage, and I’m your reward,”
“No. You are wrong, I’m your reward, Firefly. I have something worth fighting for, I’ll be damned realm or not.” Virra squeezed her hand.
The road back was largely uneventful, even after they made camp for the night and broke the following morning, it was almost midday when they made it back to Dentarius. As Aerian led Virra through the mansion and down to the old labs of Ceremon, Kane had already had the ingredients delivered and equipment was now beginning to bubble and simmer.
Aerian read the parchment of ingredients and instructions before peeling off her cloak and tossing it into the corner.
“This is a long process, lots of refining and heating and reheating, and we can’t let any of it touch us,” She mused softly
Virra chuckled while they arrived in the lab, looking around at the beakers and tubes. “Sounds fun.”
Aerian grinned wide as she nodded pouring some of the bubbling liquid into another pot and throwing in a few ingredients “Oh it will if I manage not to kill us both!” a soft chuckle slid from her.
“Once the first part is done, I promise I’m all yours,”
“You’re mine regardless. I can wait.” Virra stated calmly.
“Very true”

[The Turning Tide] Unravelling The Puzzle

Aerian had listened to Hades and Jade as they had laid out the events of Jades conversation with her mother, it bothered her a little but, her mother refusing to acknowledge her existence was actually barely something new. Aerian knew she was loved but sometimes an inconvenience or problem to be dealt with at another time was largely her mother’s belief.
“You should speak with her, but be careful, and,” Aerian said to Virra gently after they had left “Let her talk, my mother does enjoy the sound of her own voice,”
Virra looked to Aerian, nodding slowly. “I will see what I can come up with…if anything different.” She stood and leaned down to kiss Aerian gently. Though left the cottage and made her way to the dungeon. Once outside the gates, she gave the word that Hades approved it. Stepping in when the cell opened.
Ascondia glanced up at the new comer to her cell, he eyes drank in the form of the young woman before she looked back to the floor, “Another tainted soul come to torture me?”
Virra leaned against the wall nearest the door, folding her arms across her chest with a leg bent. “No. Something tells me in secret you’d get off on it. I’m here to listen to your story.” She said calmly, but her words were on the frigid side.
“My story?” Ascondia replied softly “I went to bed last night and the next thing I know I’m being dragged here and you’re hitting me in the head, I’m then locked up and told things are not as I think they are and no one will let me speak with my husband, though I am curious as to where I’m being held, and of course why”
“You are being held because there is a war. This is for your protection and others, not JUST including Kane.” Virra stated still with a voice of indifference. “Z’ress really messed with your head.”
“Yes so I have been told, but you have a taint, you share the burden of the seer, which is rare in this realm, and yet I see Elcarus blood but you are no child of ours, perhaps if you let me go I can return to Elvera and we can sort things out, I’m sure Kane would reward you well,” Ascondia spoke gentle and yet there was an air of confidence in her words, an order from the Queen, after all, couldn’t be refused.
“Not going to happen. You asked where we are and right now you are in the Elcarus estate in Dentarius. There is no sense in returning to the castle since Kane is here.”
“Then why is he not here, getting me out of this cell?!” Ascondia snapped back angrily now “And how have my powers been sealed?”
Ascondia looked flustered as she glared at Virra “I can open a portal to cross the bloody realm, reverse time if I so choose and yet here I am stuck in a cell because apparently, I cannot do either, my powers are out, and they weren’t until I arrived here!”
“Ah, yes that. Well, it wouldn’t be a dungeon with the ability to utilize spells, now would it?” Virra pushed from the wall, straightening. “What is the last thing you remember before arriving here? Think hard.”
“Making love with husband, speaking of having children, then I went to sleep, the next thing I’m been dragged through the underground by a thief and a dress maker, ordered to open a portal here,” Ascondia replied darkly
Virra tilted her head at her words. “What events had taken place in Everlands at that point? It seems you are in a time loop, one that is fixed in your mind…Do you remember the Dragon Wars?”
“There haven’t been dragons in The Everlands in generations girl, and they are a little difficult to hide? Ceremon tried to take the throne and was killed by Kane, Hades apparently has had an attitude change but the last I saw him, we had sex and were discovered resulting in him stabbing Kane and fleeing, the High Council have declared The Everlands a free realm, travel to the human dimensions have been permanently suspended due to them trying to kill us at a given notice, Kane an I have been married for around a year now, so we created him around seven years ago, The Everlands is a much safer place than it once was,” Ascondia stated quickly as she tried to answer the question.
“That’s not the truth of it right now. You know it by the way you spoke in a rushed tone, you doubt. Think harder, close your eyes and sink deeper.” Virra in her calm, detached voice.
“You asked for recent events, those are ones I can remember” Ascondia snapped back
“You’re hopeless…when you said Kane was created, what did you mean? Who created him and for what purpose? Surely not to be a fuck toy.”
“Of course not, that was pure accident, we created Kane to balance a power vacuum in the realm, Ceremon was building power and we had no counter, we came across a formula to create a warrior to counter his forces, and so we created a vessel to hold that power, we created Kane. It turns out he came with things such as emotion and understanding too, he was kind and caring, soft not like Hades, who was deemed a failure apparently infusing our souls with a human one just isn’t a smart idea, but Kane, he was so much more complete, I couldn’t help but love him, he trained our armies and we were able to push Ceremon back and defeat most of his forces, the rest scattered to the out lands.” Ascondia replied
“I thought it was Ceremon that created Hades and Kane…even Hareover.” She appeared unimpressed, it was a guise to her actual surprise. “It seems to me, that you won’t speak honestly to anyone but Kane.”
“Ceremon? Why would he want to create someone to rival his own power?” Ascondia replied “If Kane were here he would tell you all this and get me out of this,”
“Oh, he is here. I’ll get him for you.” Virra grinned wickedly, turning to leave the cell and gather, Kane. By this time and Aishani’s condition, he would be in their room.
Kane was at the desk in their room as he was pouring through various scriptures and historical records, his mind still turning over the information from Hades. As he would turn to watch his wife for a moment before returning to his work.
There was a knock on the door that spliced through the silence of the room, this caused Aishani to stir but otherwise remained asleep.
Kane made his way to the door opening just a little to see Virra on the other side, he slid the door open a little further and slid through.
“Evening Virra, how went your chat with our guest? Or should I prepare for more questions than we have answers for?” His words were fraught with frustration and a lack of answers, something he was far from used to.
“Her memories are scrambled, Kane. She does not have any recollection of the Dragon Wars, in fact, she still believes the two of you are married. Aishani is not going to be very tolerant of that fact…” She glanced down the hall then back to him. “To her Ceremon is dead. I didn’t know you were created by her and the High Council…the last she remembers was when you caught her and Hades amidst an act…something about stabbing then finishing making love to you and speaking of children. The next was the arrival of Zia and Elsa dragging her through the dungeons forcing her to open a portal here. For as much as I hate to say it, you are the only one she really wants to talk to…”
Kane looked down the hall then back toward the bedroom door before finally back to Virra.
“I wasn’t created, but the incident she speaks of was a long time ago, Ascondia was originally with Hades but he let slip of mine and our brothers existence and so Ascondia reached out to us for help, when I arrived in Elvera Hades flew into a fit of rage and stabbed me twice, had he not been a lousy aim, or sub consciously aware we are family, I should have been dead. I survived but in doing so Ascondia and the High Council chose that time to wipe my head clean, implant it with false memories of being created to serve,” Kane kept his voice low as he explained the history of the his coming to her “And I did for a long time, however between Aerian being born and having to protect the two of them, Ascondia being sent to the human realm to hide her pregnancy and the clone somehow the magics binding my memories began to fade, and in time I became aware of my true heritage, when the real Ascondia returned to Elvera, Aerian and I left,”
“None of that matters now, Kane. What does is the fact that we have to screw Ascondia’s head in straight. She is such in the past, Aerian maybe too much of a shock for her. But the key is you. You have to talk to her.” Virra glanced to the door. “Else I fear the emotions of Aishani may kill Ascondia. She is stable but the wolf and pregnancy make her…unpredictable.”
“Especially with Ascondia claiming me as hers,” Kane rubbed his jaw before he nodded, “I will leave Aishani a message and we will go speak with the crazy Queen in our dungeon”
Kane slid back into the bedroom to leave his ‘Speaking to Ascondia seems things are a little complicated, but I will inform you all this once I have spoken with her, Love Always Kane’
As he returned with his cloak he nodded to Virra “I trust you will accompany me, there are things even I would rather not do alone,”
“Kane Elcarus…afraid to do something alone. I wouldn’t miss it.” She teased with a smirk.
“Have you met the woman” Kane chuckled in reply as they made their way back to the cells, the guard nodded and let them through as they made their way to the cell.
The door opened and Ascondia smiled as she leapt at Kane “Where the hell have you been baby?! God, I’ve been going crazy waiting for you, why have you got me locked up?” Ascondia tried to kiss Kane only for him to extract himself from the embrace.
“Like a rabbit…” Virra muttered, in fact, the display was sickening to her. Seeing Ascondia and Aishani, it was disgusting to her at the contrast. “I brought him, as I said.”
“So you did, a tainted soul who can do something,” Ascondia replied almost as a thought that directly to Virra, “So Kane when can I get out of here?”
“Not anytime soon, Ascondia something is off, you and I was a long time ago, and I also am well aware of the truth in how we actually found each other, you were taken, prisoner and we suspect a drow named Z’ress has somehow messed with your head,” He was unsure of his words, or even what was actually going on at this point “We need to find out what, you also need to stop pissing off my family, Virra here is engaged to,” he stopped and looked to Virra, not even sure if he should be telling her Aerian was a live flesh and blood woman.
“You may as well. But she is not going to meet with her…I get the feeling this is what Z’ress wanted…”
“It’s a lot of memory to remove, but I suspect if she saw Aerian, well we know where that ends up,” Kane settled back against the door as Ascondia kicked at the ground and stormed back to seat herself on the cot.
“You’re supposed to love me” She spat angrily
“I haven’t loved you in a long time Ascondia, I’m sorry but there it is, I am married and trying to stop our realm from being destroyed, unfortunately I have a better chance of doing that if we can unscramble your damn head,” Kane sighed deeply as he looked to Virra “Unless there’s something else at play, we know she wants to kill Aerian, remove our ability to see ahead, but what if they are trying to remove someone else from the equation as well?”
Kane didn’t even wait as the thought hit him, he locked the cell door and took off back into the mansion, arriving at his office and beginning to search for something among the paper work.
When he returned to the office, Kane knew it before he even entered, Aishani was awake and sitting in his office chair. She stood with a hand on her swollen belly, no expression in her face but acknowledged him with a glance of her smoldering golden eyes. She was nearing her wolf state.
Virra had followed him from the cell, as stealthy and soundless as a cat. She was in the room but stopped at the door at the presence of Aishani. “What are you looking for?”
Kane smiled softly to his wife “Feeling any better my love?” before he carried on searching, his eyes glancing over paper titles and scroll names until he dropped one on the desk and unravelled it.
“Ascondia is one of the most powerful people in the realm, but not the most powerful, only one has that and that would be our healer, whatever they have done will take a lot to undo and they are likely counting on us bringing Stacy out of hiding, we cannot of course, but long ago Sarantha gave me something should we ever need it, it’s just a little bit more of a gamble than I’d like, still we seem to have a few of these in this war so what’s one more,”
Kane stated quickly as he began reading the piece of paper before him, “Most of the pieces we have in storage, the rest is fairly simple to come by with the right contacts”
Aishani remained silent while her hand was resting on the side of her swollen belly, Kane, would he look could see the form of her fangs beneath the surface of her lips. Her golden eyes were fixed on him and then flickered every so often down to the movement of papers, as the final one was set on the desk, she moved over to his side with gaze down.
Virra then entered the room more fully, to stand at Kane’s opposite side, looking to the scroll. “Stacy is out of the question,” Aishani spoke and her tone was a very sensual purr, saturated into a primal depth. Virra glanced to Aishani, distracted for a moment, then down again. “What do we need then that we don’t have, my love?”
“Time is the thing we need and don’t have” Kane replied before he looked over the page, “We have everything just not in one place, I will reach out to those lines for the other ingredients, but it is going to take time, Aerian should then be able to put it together,”
“You know how Aerian hates being told what to do…so why don’t you ask her?” Virra added idly, while Aishani slipped to sit on the edge of the desk.
“You can do the convincing,” Aishani said calmly. “What exactly is she to do? Do not forget that our fiery daughter is tied to Virra.”
“Oh I wasn’t planning on telling her to do it, but she is by far better gifted at this than I am, she will require Virras help because of that link my love, they will need to the mix the potion in a dose enough to undo Z’ress’ block, we then have to convince Ascondia to drink it,” Kane replied gently “Though part of me would rather just let you force her my love, it seems somewhat over kill”
“Don’t suppose you have an illegal chemist contact tucked away Virra?” Kane smiled darkly “I know your fathers trade wasn’t just slavery and mercenary work, we need to reach out to them and have them bring what we need, they have this immunity against any retribution from us on this occasion, even I know we need to bend the rules now and again, Death root isn’t to come by nor is it generally used,”
“Well…I had a personal contact, one that never went through my Pops. Even she wouldn’t speak to him, an elder in a perilous part of the forests…None enter that haven’t had her blessing. Though, I can wager that she would allow for myself and Aerian to enter since we share the same bond. I can gather Aerian and we can leave at once.” Virra stated, by the words it was clear this old woman in the forest was dangerous though also was the closest being she had to a mother.
“Oh, I would love to force it down her throat…” Aishani growled softly with a flash in her golden eyes and a sharpness to her wolfish grin.
Kane chuckled softly as he took Aishanis hand “I know you would, but we must play nice, as much as it annoys the living hell out of me,”
“As for Aerian and yourself Virra, be careful out there, Ceremon will have his spies out and we know Aerian is a target, you are her partner and they are aware of that which makes you dangerous to them, they may want to take Aerian but I wouldn’t discount them wanting to kill you,” His words were sincere and gentle “So I want you both to come home to us, am I clear?”
“You worry too much, Old Man.” Virra chuckled with a wink. “I’ll go to Aerian and we will leave immediately.” She turned and briskly left the room.
Aishani sighed softly after the door closed. “Jade could slip the tonic into Ascondia’s tea. I’m sure she could make something to relax and mall the taste and odour.”
“One step at a time my love,” Kane placed the paper back into his desk before turning to her “So how are you feeling?”
“I am going to send Shadow to watch after our daughter and Virra.” Until now, Kane hadn’t realized crumpled in one hand was the note he left earlier, Aishani moved to then look out the window. “Speaking to Ascondia seems things are a little complicated, but I will inform you all this once I have spoken to her…” Clearly, this note had done more damage then good, by the subtle growl from her throat. “So, speak. What has happened, besides the fact that her brain is scrambled due to Z’ress. I sense you are avoiding speaking to me on something, what is it?”
“Scrambled is one word, wiped would be more accurate, as far as we can tell,” Kane spoke softly, but had no intention of hiding the details from his wife, now or anytime after that fact, “The last details she remember are shortly during or after our first anniversary, she remembers nothing of me since I was under her thrall and we were wed, even before Aerian was born,”
Her back was to Kane, though, he noted the tension in her shoulders at his words. “So…in essence, she believes that you are hers?” There was no denying of the possessiveness that tickled the growl in her voice. “Aerian, should not see her, this is bait in my mind.”
“I made no bones in correcting her of that fact, and that I have in fact long since moved on from been her plaything,” Kane replied quickly “And I would agree that Aerian is still a catalyst in all this, they seek to blind us, both removing Aerians power from our hands and of course our daughter from our lives, neither an outcome I am willing to allow to come to fruition,”
“Oh, for fucksake, Kane. You may have corrected her in words, though, we are speaking of Ascondia lost in the past. I am sure she is still stubborn as now and spoiled.” Aishani closed her eyes while watching him in the reflection of the window. “I get the feeling that decisions will need to be made, sacrifices as well. But, in all this, there is a plan that Z’ress has and the seed is planted…” From outside the window, Kane saw the skitter of Shadow across the courtyard in the direction of Aerian and Virra’s cottage. “As much as I despise this, perhaps, you should spend more time with Ascondia. Learn what portions of her memory are manipulated or absent.”
“I’d rather not,” Kane sighed darkly “I am still very much unable to forgive for her taking so much of my life, even our daughter is detached and refuses to give her mother credit more than being the one who brought her into this world, I see no reason in trying to piece her head together, I see no point in fixing her either but the fact is we could do with the power boost she’d provide”
Aishani closed her eyes, turning now too have Kane. “We need this power. I, unfortunately, ask not of this realm or the magics such possess. My heart is here and with you. I don’t like this one bit…though one thing I’m concerned with is my sisters. If Z’ress brought one or both, they are out for blood…unless. Are we positive we even have Ascondia? One of my sisters is an expert illusionist…”
Kane looked to Aishani “Illusionist?” There was a genuine surprise in his voice, an option he had actually failed to consider. “Then could she be in our cells?”
“It could be possible…Do you know for a fact that Ascondia is whom she says she is?” Aishani looked to him with an enigmatic expression. “The eldest is Xull’jra. Any one of my sisters would love just for the chance to destroy me….”
“Her memories seem intact, but to take out such a huge gap I cannot figure the logic, except to draw out Stacy,” Kane scratched his head for a moment “But she is correct in the details of how I was controlled all those years ago, I guess we could press her as only the real Ascondia knows how it was done”
“We? Are you sure that’s wise, my love?” She held a hand on her belly. “I’m not sure that Ceremon or Z’ress are aware of my current state…”
“You are the best person to challenge her perception of the realm, and if it’s your sister, I wouldn’t know” Kane replied softly “We just need to determine if the risk is worth it?”
“I’m not sure, I trust myself, my love. My emotions are very high strung right now with the children in my womb…I was actually very possessive of you when I read the note.” Aishani lowered her gaze to hide the shame. “I trust you, my love. But, there is a way, I had a brother. He was sacrificed. You see in Drow society it was common to kill the males in the house if they were weak…mostly it was up to the Matriarch to do such. His name was K’yorl, you would see recognition in her expression if such was mentioned, a twinge of hatred.”
“We will handle it, my love, I will speak her when Jade next pays her a visit, for the moment we have a lot in place and we should take time to assess those facts,” Kane leant to kiss her cheek gently “Just another day in Dentarius”

[The Turning Tide] Always an Angle

There was loud crack that rattled the very foundations of the mansion, as it brought everyone running, Aerian and Virra arrived first to see the portal erupt into the air between them and the mansion, it hung in the air swirling mass of energy.

Aerian felt the power as it prickled across her flesh, she drew her bow and knocked and arrow aiming dead centre. There were enemies that came through thrown from the other side, and quickly dispatched either by them or the guards. A few moments passed and Zia tumbled through covered in blood and injured, before she was followed by Ascondia, there was something hollow in her eyes as she stalked the injured Zia.

Aerian swallowed before she let an arrow loose hitting her mother in the shoulder stumbling her back “Bring her down Virra!” Aerian called as she shot to put herself between Zia and Ascondia.

Virra didn’t need any more words, when the arrow flew through the air, her body collided with Ascondia just as the blunt end of her dagger was slammed against Ascondia’s temple to render the woman unconscious.

After she panted and glances to Aerian. “Lock her up. Come I need help.”

Another moment after Elsa also tumbled through and the vortex collapsed in on itself with a roar. She looked flustered as she hoisted Zia to her feet and looked to Virra and Aerian.

“Well then ladies, let’s get these two locked up shall we”

Aerian looked stunned at the dress maker now decked in more roguish garbs, twin swords at her back.

“What are you doing here”

“It’s a war for the realm my dear, can’t let you and your family have all the fun now can we? A little bird told me there was a plan to extract the queen and I suspected an unexpected twist would be required,” Elsa replied with a wry smile.

They made their way to the cells, which had been cleaned since the previous occurrences, Elsa shoved Zia in and closed the door.

“You still owe me baby!” Zia called at Aerian, who merely rolled her shoulders and went to help Virra. Elsa cut her off with a hand, and made her way to Virra to aid with locking up the Queen.

Virra set Ascondia on a cot in the corner and thanked Elsa for the assistance as the cell door was slammed closed with a sigh. “Seems it is a natural reaction to knock out your bloodline.” Virra chuckled but looked to Elsa with a grin. “Nice look. Thanks for the help. Seems Zia needed it. Firefly, we need to find your Pops. He needs to know that we have a guest.”

Aerian smiled and nodded as she waited for Virra before taking her hand. They made their way to the main hall, where Kane and Aishani were now, he looked up to see Aerian and Virra followed by Elsa which caused him to raise a brow.

“Oh do come now Kane, you know I am as capable in combat as anyone else, and you needed someone you could trust to make sure Ascondia made it back alive” Elsa stated with a smile “Pleasure to see you and the lil ones Lady Aishani”

“Intrigued to know how you found out,” Kane replied with a smile

“Lady Aishani sent Shadow, Shadow informed the Unicorns and the Dires and they in turn sent for me,” She shrugged softly “It would seems they didn’t trust your thief”

Aishani simply chuckled to Elsa’s words, rising with a hand on her swollen belly and back. “Shadow knows what is at stake, I’m glad she took the initiative.” She moved over to Elsa and embraced her, as best possible with the size of her stomach, just then one of the unborn kicked, causing her to grimace. “It seems, the little ones are happy to hear you too. I should have known that you were a fighter, impressive.” Aishani winked to her. Virra stood stiffly with an arm around Aerian’s waist. “Both of which are locked in the dungeon. Though, I have a feeling that our…little thief will call for her reward.”

Aishani grinned, the newly extended canines giving her a wolfish presence. “Then we must see what it is that she requires. I am not entirely too sure of her crime to begin with. After all, she proved her worth but not always is it enough to trust one such as her.”

“She has a reputation for taking things that don’t belong to her, the last of consequence being a large shipment of mythril” Kane replied “It would fall under lesser crimes, but considering our issues with mythril before Emerald City,”

“Which is strange as your daughter has the same problem” Hades smirked now entering the room “I heard the commotion outside, I take it our guests have arrived”

“Yea but I took ancient and misplaced treasures, not things that were needed or deemed essential at any given time” Aerian tried to sound hurt by her Uncles words but she just laughed “I was well paid too, besides Zia got hurt, we should at least make sure she doesn’t end up dead”

“Did she try anything other than getting Ascondia out?” Kane looked up to Elsa.

“She has an agenda, what this is I cannot say, she got us in, as we were making our way out Ascondia caused a scene and caught the guards attention, she was caught by one of them that’s when I believe she was hurt, still she was able to ensure Ascondia opened the portal and brought us here, I covered their escape and here we are, whatever her angle I suspect it has to do with her predicament here as opposed to anything else, I may be wrong” Elsa quickly laid out the details of their escapades.

“She did as we asked, there is no reason not to honour our agreement” Aerian added

Aishani exchanged a glance with Kane briefly, then looked to Aerian. “Yes, I agree, though, it depends on what she wants. I believe freedom should be at her fingertips providing she is willing to work for it. Indeed, this did help but in it there was an ulterior motive. I will speak to her upon it with Kane present as well as her injuries. I have little…tolerance as of late with my hormones. Jade you are to create meals for Ascondia, I think it only fitting that you tend to her, begin that now.”

Jade bowed gracefully to Aishani, casting one glance to Hades before she slipped from the room to begin her instructions. Virra chuckled now. “Listen to you, Aishani. Pregnant and bossy as ever.” Aishani grinned wolfishly to Virra. “I have to embrace my place in this realm regardless of my current physical technicality.”

“Aerian you go nowhere near your mother,” Kane added firmly

“Yea I have no intent to end up dead,” Aerian replied solemnly “But Jade and Virra need to be careful around her, and Jade certainly shouldn’t go in with her alone”

“She won’t be,” Hades smiled “I’ll be with her, I trust our other Queen will be speaking with her at some point?”

“Of course. But, first, to neglect a thief is not a good thing. She needs to know that she is as important as Ascondia. That is why I chose her first, from one a thief to another…it may be best.” She moved to place a hand upon Hades’ shoulder, then glanced to Kane. “See to it that Elsa is comfortable, Hades. I’m sure she is exhausted.”

“Oh don’t trouble yourself over me dear,” Elsa smiled softly

“You heard her,” Hades smiled softly “Let’s get you to a room, relax, there’s more to be done yet,” Hades stated softly.

He led her off as Aerian watched them leave, before sliding against Virra. Kane led the group down toward the cells, they talked small talk and plans ahead, they had in truth won with the retrieval of Ascondia, and with Stacy out of reach it would at least slow Ceremon and Z’ress’ plans.

Kane unlocked the door to Zia’s cell, she had her hand pressed to her side as she was stemming the blood flow.

In part, Aishani and Kane fed, the blood really wouldn’t affect them. She gave instruction to Kane in order to gather some medical supplies, including a needle and thread, would he hesitate, Aishani would growl at him in the deep guttural sound. Once he had left to gather the requested items, Aishani turned to face Zia. “Lay down. This is going to hurt…a lot, but, you already know that.” She stated simply, moving to begin cutting Zia’s tunic in order to expose the wound, though tore a portion of her jacket to press against the wound. “I know you have an angle, any decent thief does. To save us and you the trouble, don’t talk riddles. Out with it.”

“Always, but,” She squealed as Aishani applied pressure, “Shit that hurts, my angle here has always been the same, Aerian,” She sighed softly then squirmed against the pain that ripped at her from the injuries, two very deep lacerations inflicted by blades. “She was the best of our group, smart, fierce, beautiful, but her contacts ran deeper than anyone, she could find work when things were bad, our group misses her leadership, I want her back,”

“As you can see, she has a fire that returned to her. I cannot make that decision for Aerian, though, we have bigger things to be concerned with, Zia. Virra is her strength now and the two are bound by promising words, this you will have to take up with her after things are secured in the realm. Right now it is chaos, keep that in mind.” Aishani kept the pressure on Zia, pressing a knee into the fabric and injury, holding the position until Kane arrived with the required items.

Zia cried out as she felt the knee on her wounds “What’s Virras deal anyway? She looks so stern and mean, not the kind whom I would have pictured Aery with, oh shit!! That hurts!”

“Open wounds tend to do that,” Kane stated as he made his way in placing things down on the bed beside Aishani “Do I need to keep you locked up, or is there a chance you’re going to play nice? You can handle yourself, we need that right now, but you know how I work, trust with me if very thin and it wouldn’t be the first time that’s come back to bite me with you,”

“You don’t know her. My suggestion is get to know her, before you cast that dagger in her direction. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you are jealous of Virra.” Aishani suggested, glancing back to Kane, gathering the alcohol while removing the pressure of the wound and pouring it upon Zia’s wound then offering her the bottle. “You act as though never being hurt before.” She muttered beginning to clean the wound and then sterilise the needle and thread, instructing Kane to help hold the flesh together in order for her to begin to stitch her. “Hold, fucking, still…” She hissed, beginning to stitch the flesh together, but, in the end after a few hours, it was mended together and a gauze and bandage was being wrapped tightly around her torso and side. “Now. Look me in the eyes. Can we trust you?”

Zia was not quiet as Aishani worked, her screams echoed through the jail, tears ran down her cheek. She looked at Aishani as she finished her eyes staring blank for a moment, before she looked at her wounds now stitched “It’s not like I can leave right now, and out there is getting worse, so I’ll behave myself,”

Aishani handed back the bottle of liquor, rising and patting Zia’s shoulder. “Kane, may just lock you up again for such acts. But, I will not be so kind…” She leaned down and gathered the bloodied basin water. “I’ll let Aerian know, she will ultimately decide, your fate in the end so I suggest you play nice with Virra, if your goal is to get her back on your team that is the way to do it.”

Zia inclined her head in agreement.

Kane aided in cleaning up before he eyed Zia in thought “I’ll have them escort you to one of the guest rooms, then as Aishani has said, what happens next is Aerian and Virras call,”

As they walked back to the main hall of the Mansion Kane watched Aishani “Everything alright my love?”

She held the basin of bloodied water, walking in silence then glanced to Kane with a smirk. “Zia, loves, Aerian. It is not perhaps, a pure love like Virra but such that is a need. It is strange, the girl is jealous of Virra. Imagine, two women in love with your daughter.” Aishani chuckled darkly, as they went into the kitchen to dump the water down the drain. “I do not wish to say it, needless to think on it…but, Kane, my love. Ascondia may need you to fix her mind correctly, I know that the part that was born from your love is Aerian. I am standing on the outside of such. I suggest you speak to Jade and Hades. They may need you. I need to stay clear from Ascondia. She was your wife, I fear my hormones are going out of hand at the moment.” Her hands curled on the edge of the sink, while looking down.

“Aerian has quite an effect on women it seems, still she is old enough to know what she wants, and I suspect if Zia treads to far upon the wrong nerves, we may end having to prevent Virra killing her, as for my former wife, we don’t know what Z’ress did, or if Aerian is the only target. We need to let Jade and Hades assess things, then we will take the action we need to” Kanes words were soft and yet full of the evident ‘I don’t want to talk to her until she has her head on straight’

Gently he slid his arm around her waist before guiding her back to the main room and the couch in front the fire “Let’s just take some time, it’s been a busy day, and you should rest,’
